K9 ACRES Premium Play & Stay Pet Resort

We have used K-9 acres to board our dog Loki two times now. The first time was the first time we had ever boarded him and we were a bit nervous being away for a couple of weeks, however everything went well and Loki had a great time. We chose the board and train option for that first stay as well, and he made remarkable progress in a short time. When it came time to board him again, we had no worries about leaving him at K-9 Acres - he loves it there. The staff are great and we will continue to use them for future stays.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is. They took our rescue dog in last minute when we were practically scrambling to find a place for him. They have been so kind and accommodating, I will forever be grateful for them. They care about the dogs and it shows in their actions. When i finally went to pick up our dog, i could tell how much he had bonded and felt safe with the people there. Thank you so much k9acres.❤️

The best!!! I have been bringing my dogs here for the last 7 years and I am so happy I found K9 Acres. I have two American Bullies and I would not trust anyone else to watch them (not even my family lol, they are both very hyper and active), I live about an hour away and I make the trip just to come here. They go above and beyond to accommodate you and your pets needs. I call daily to check in when I leave my dogs and they always make time to give me updates on how they are doing. The Resort is clean and rooms are very spacious!I could not be happier, thank you to K9 Acres and the staff!!!

My dog loves this place, we go visit family at their cottage every summer, my dog Oscar remembers soon as we drive up the driveway. I was shocked, he was so excited to go and stay over. He has been to a few others in Kingston and never gets excited for any of them. I would highly recommend k9 Acres. A++

What a wonderful trustworthy place to board your dog. This place made me feel so comfortable, knowing my dog was looked after so well, I knew right away. They accommodate me when I needed extra days for my dog to stay. They helped me with her extra needs. Also my dog came home so confident and happy, it did her wonders staying there. She seemed so comfortable in her crate when she got home and like I said I noticed her confidence aswell. They loved her, played with her she seemed very happy. I'm really thankful to them for taking us , and such reasonable prices. Thank you guys!!

We have been with K9 Acres since September and cannot say enough about how positive and enthusiastic they are about their clients"! Our puppy started with them when he was just 6 months old and they worked hard to get him the most social environment. The daily updates about how he does each day and who he plays with are so entertaining!He became sick several months ago (unrelated to his stay at K9!); the advice given by Etienne and the care and concern shown by the entire staff made us feel so supported. He needed to be hospitalized for a couple of days and we received daily texts to ask how he was doing. Once he returned home and back to K9

K9Acres and staff are exceptional. We’ve been using K9Acres dog daycare just short of 1yr now. Our pup Chloee absolutely loves attending and often would seem she doesn’t want to leave. Not to say we don’t give her an amazing home but her not running out of the door speaks volumes to the staff and her four legged friends.Recently we had the pleasure to board Chloee for a few nights as we were going away and unable to take her. The process was simple and easy. We had absolutely no concern leaving her and knew if anything we would hear from staff or owner Etienne.We’re incredibly thankful to have such an amazing facility and staff available to support us with our pup. We owe a lot of gratitude to the entire team who’ve essentially helped raise Chloee into such an amazing dog.Owner Etienne is very caring and compassionate… Nothing says so as a follow up call from him if you pup wasn’t feeling good or potentially got minor scratch from puppy play.We also utilized basic training classes with owner Etienne. The training was all positive, food driven and we enjoyed the fact her worked with each owner at their pace and the pace of their pet. Safety was always top of mind and it was great to be with dogs of all different personalities and skill levels.All in all, if your looking for daycare, boarding and more, check out their website. I bring my baby dog Enzo there a few times every week. He's always very excited to go and has a wonderful time playing with the other good dogs there. He's a very playful dog, and luckily, he gets to play with other friendly dogs there.After completing a tour of the site, I would recommend this place %100. The dogs are well cared for, aggressive dogs are segregated from non aggressive ones, and the location is well maintained.

I’d like to express my gratitude to K9 Acres and their wonderful staff. A special mention goes out to Emily who kept us updated and sent us pictures of our boy on a regular basis. My husband and I were put in a predicament that no dog owner wants to experience, as part of our job we are required to live on the property as managers of the estate. With a series of unfortunate events we were faced with the decision to remove our boy from the property or face other consequences which included the possibility of being forced to put our dog down. Etienne and his staff provided Montgomery with a safe environment and sanctuary where he was loved and well looked after whilst my husband and I dealt with emotions and consequential decisions regarding our boy . Not once did we feel or get the impression that Monty was not in the best place for him to be during the 5 weeks he was away from us. With the support from and the weekly contact and lots of pictures and videos sent to us by the K9 team, we were comfortable with the temporary seperation . After much thought we decided that NO job was worth the anxiety or sadness that comes from being forced away from your pet for extended period of time . We decided to leave the high paying jobs and return with our boy to Cape Breton where we are free to frolic and run on our beaches and live out our lives with our furry four legged family member . Without K9 acres and the staff that are truly amazing and loving we don’t know what the outcome might have been . Their love and compassion for our situation speaks volumes , their reassurance and dedication proved that our family member was not the dangerous beast painted out by our employers when in fact , ironically it was the complete opposite. So on behalf of myself , my husband and Monty from the depths of our hearts. We thank you all. We will continue to send updated pictures of Monty at the girls request and without the slightest hesitation recommend K9 Acres for your pets stay be it for a short stint or extended stay. This is the Ritz of boarding kennels and the staff far exceed any celebrity status because they enjoy what they do. Thank you again , we couldn’t have made it through the last 5 weeks without you all.
