Breakaway Bays | A Parkbridge Residential Retirement Community

We have lived here for the last 12 years. There have been some major changes in that time. Once upon a time it was a senior's park only, but now has many younger family's with children. Many upgrades, ie fiber optic cable for every site. New security doors for main clubhouse and pool. When it snows the roads are plowed and salted quickly. As others have posted, close to all amenities including 5 minutes to the USA Border. All in all it is a great place to live in my opinion. Yes as someone else posted the water was shut off for 3 consecutive Tuesday's for maintenance. There was plenty of warning and hopefully everyone stocked up with pails of water the night before.

Grandma lives there. It’s very safe and quiet. The facilities are dated, the place could use some upgrades but it is a decent place for her to live. Close to everything.

I find the park has really improved over the last few years. New owners are investing in the maintenance and repairs and individual unit owners have a newfound level of pride in their homes.

Appears to be a well run mobile trailer park. They have a clubhouse, access to a small book exchange as well as a swimming pool which is open to residents and their guests in the summer months.

It was better years ago. Our main road in the park has become trans Canada highway with traffic cutting through the park to get to the adjacent neighborhood. There is access there but takes longer than cutting thru our park. This includes heavy trucks as well . Management refuses to address the issue after they have received many complaints about it .

Best place to live,very safe and clean.

My parents have lived here for awhile. It’s a great place to visit and a great location. It’s close to amenities, the beach and the US border. It even has a very well maintained pool. You can tell they take pride in the upkeep of this place.

Impeccably laid out and always lots of parking.
