Did a really great job inspecting my home. Found things that I would've never seen. I've been through a couple home inspections, and this gentleman was definitely the most thorough inspector I've met. Would recommend highly and use again myself.

The inspector was prompt, courteous, and thorough. He was able to answer all my questions and really got into the details regarding items that needed repair. I am very happy we chose Blue Jay.

After buying and selling a few houses in the past 12 years, I am very familiar with home inspections and the process behind them. With that in mind, I can't say enough how happy I was with Blue Jay Inspections. Jay was extremely professional, honest, thorough, and has a great attention to detail. Some inspectors treat the potential homebuyer like a nuisance, but Jay was communicative and interactive throughout the entire process. He took his time and I never felt rushed. In fact, I feel like if I wanted to stay another hour or two to go over things again, I felt like he would have accommodated the request in a second. His report was both timely, extremely detailed, and easy to understand. This is a top-notch company and although I hope not to have to move (ever) again, I would call Blue Jay back in a second should I buy another home.

I used Blue Jay Inspections for a septic inspection on a house I'm buying and I was very impressed. Jay was knowledgeable and very kind. He explained what he was doing and why. I was treated with respect and not talked down to. The entire took less than an hour. Price was lower than other companies in the area and when I had to reschedule the appointment, his staff quickly got me a new appointment with no fuss. Highly recommend!

Professional. Answered all our questions, thorough, learned a lot from him and he uncovered some stuff a previous inspector didn't seem to due to a sewer scope. Note: get the sewer scope in these old places.Jay obv knows what he's doing and I would hire him again if doing any kind of single family home inspection. I liked his report, it was a mix of bullet points with pics, easy to understand and reference as needs be.

I have been in the real estate business for a decade. I have seen my fair share of home inspections, yet I was very impressed on Jays meticulous and conservative approach. I say that because as a home buyer its easy to get scared away even due to little things during an inspection, but what Jay does is he makes you feel confident by isolating issues and categorizing them from major to minor or cosmetic and at the same time he is a wealth of knowledge making the inspection a crash course into being a home owner. Worth every penny and more - Jay you are the best! I would absolutely recommend you in the future without a moment of hesitation.
