Strawberry Blonde Bakery
It’s so nice to have found a dedicated gluten free bakery. I come once in a while and everything I have tried has tasted great! Some of my favourites are the sun-dried tomato scone, brownie and chocolate candy cane sugar cookie. Last time I came in I tried the carrot cake and the bunny cookie, both were good. I wish this place would open up more locations in Ottawa, I am sure many people would agree!

Deliciously inclusive. Strawberry Blonde's new modern and chic location has a tasty treat to satisfy any palate whether you have allergies or not.I haven't always had the best experience when it comes to gluten free goods. Happy to say this wasn't one of those times. We sample a wide variety of treats, which were all delicious without the grainy gluten free baking is often ridden with. The staff are very knowledgeable and approachable regarding the flavours and ingredients.

The cake I ordered was beautiful but unfortunately it did not taste great. It was supposed to have creamcheese frosting but it tasted like buttercream and was overly sweet. The cake itself was mealy and for a bakery that specializes in gluten free cakes, I was surprised at how gluten free it tasted.I was disappointed because of the cost and the special occasion being ruined. Some people even threw their piece of cake out because they found it it inedible.

These donuts were SO delicious. I had the pleasure of capturing a wedding on NYE that had a donut wall full of Strawberry Blonde Bakery donuts. My only regret is I didn't take more when I left.

Strawberry Blonde Bakery
Everything is vegan and gluten-free (and nut-free and kosher). Scones, muffins, date squares, soy-free bread, mini cakes, coffee beans, brownies, ice cream, custom-decorated cakes, take-and-bake items, including pizzas, pie dough balls, Jamaican patties, pizza pockets. I had an iced oatmilk latte (soy, oat and coconut milks available) and took away a maple cinnamon bun, cheddar rosemary scone and tofu scramble bite. (The scone and cinnamon bun, being gluten-free, are not as light as regular flour items.)

The coffee and baked items we had were tasty. The staff were friendly. Indoor seating was very limited but there was an outdoor patio next to the sidewalk.

Strawberry Blonde Bakery
Heard great things about this place so decided to pop in while in Ottawa. I tried the cranberry square, but it is dry, bland, and totally not delicious. Perhaps I should’ve stuck to a cupcake, but as someone who’s tried many gluten free and other dietary free places, this was very underwhelming, especially for the price. I’ll stick to other bakeries like the Wildoat from here on out when visiting.

Strawberry Blonde Bakery
This bakery is the best bakery I have had in Ottawa. I have tried their brownies, cupcakes, cookies and I have loved them all. The best part is they are gluten free, nut free, lactose free, etc. & you honestly can't even tell. They are made so well, you can tell that a lot of love has gone into making these desserts.The brownie bomb cake was sooo tasty! My family enjoyed it. Definitely will return again and again.
