Menu for residents is not good, not well balanced meals as per Canada Food Guide. The taste of foods served needs improvement!

THE PREVIOUS OWNER KEEPS TELLING PEOPLE HE WANTS THIS PLACE TO GO BANKRUPT SO HE CAN BUY IT BACK AT A DISTRESSED PRICE. He keeps insighting staff to quit and telling resident to complain. We are a witness as he has been insighting my aunt to complain even though she has no complaints. Its not about being portugese, its about doing the right thing. This new mgt. is not portugese but is doing so many things right that he couldnt do in years...See his google reviews under vila nova place and see how many times he was called crooked and sneaky by real people and not his ghost reviewers.

We decided to go all the way to Cambridge from Mississauga in search of a home for my Aunt and it was well worth it. We got a really good care package for a good price and we really loved to see the owners being involved and playing games with the seniors.

The only home in town that was compassionate enough to listen to our situation and work with us. They gave us reasonable conditions given our circumstance and it was such a relief.

I got the chance to randomly interview some residents and they were all very happy to be there. The Owner is so nice and you can see she pampers everyone. We will be saying yes to this home.

The owner will do anything to pinch a penny at the expense of residents and staff. Food is not nutritious, activities are virtually non existent, staffing levels have been cut on a dangerous level, the facility needs a coat of paint at the least, and all for a $900 monthly increase. Please don’t respond saying that you’re bringing in a nutritionist or any other lies. I know this isn’t true, you can’t keep a cook to save your life. You’re taking advantage of the fact that many of your residents only speak Portuguese, so they can’t speak for themselves, so let this review be a start.
