I had a great crew. Get Movers Oshawa ON was very professional company. The movers were strong, big guys, very polite. We have narrow stairs and they had to move the dressers and heavy credenza down a flight of stairs. Five stars for all their job.

My experience with this moving company was an absolute disaster from start to finish and I strongly discourage anyone from using their services.Firstly, they hired subcontractors to complete my move. The subcontractors they brought in showed up with a massive U-Haul truck that was completely unnecessary for my move and blocked the entire loading dock in my building. These individuals WERE NOT professional movers, mishandled my furniture and belongings, and lacked organization and efficiency.Secondly, the moving company failed to communicate the correct time to the subcontractors. As a result, the movers showed up a whopping 1.5 hours late. This put me in a time-sensitive situation as I had limited elevator access in my building. Unfortunately, due to their poor planning, the movers arrived at my destination just 17 minutes before my allotted elevator time expired.Due to the delay, I had to rush through the moving process and even helped carry boxes and furniture myself to speed things up. We ended up exceeding our elevator booking, leaving me frantically coordinating with the security desk, concierge team, and parking staff to accommodate the unexpected extension.They were unable to accommodate an extension so we ended up breaking the building's rules by using the regular elevator instead of the designated service elevator. Not only did it create chaos in my building, I risked getting a fine for this.To make matters worse, I had taken multiple precautions to ensure a smooth move. I contacted the moving company twice before the move to confirm the time and even sent them a detailed list of my moving items to ensure they were prepared.Finally, they tried to charge me for an additional hour of labor, despite the delays being their fault. I had to spend 45 minutes arguing on the phone to avoid being overcharged.Go elsewhere!
