It seems the establishment is under staffed. Our order took a long time to come out and I never got the tortillas with my meal. The server was nice and the place itself was clean. Unfortunately, the food was not what I had hoped. Their margarita selection looked great so maybe happy hour would be the way to go.

Marcela's Cocina Mexicana
This was our first time dining at Marcela's and we were pleasantly surprised. We'll be back! Margaritas are served on the rocks in pint glasses. Instead of refried beans, meals are served with a cup of pinto beans, which are delicious. It's two levels and was pretty busy when we visited around 6pm on a mid-week summer night, but even so, we only had to wait a few minutes for a table upstairs (which has lovely views of the hills behind the town). The fish tacos (tacos de pescado) and camarones al mojo de ajo were both excellent! Service was also very good. The place is decorated with colorful paintings of Mexican icons, and has a really good vibe. There's limited outdoor seating as well. We'll return to Marcela's.

First I want to note that I am always hesitant to showcase a negative experience at a business because I recognize the full weight of a negative review. Today, I feel obligated to make an exception due to the unethical behavior at Marcela’s.Today, like most parents around dinner time, I was on a mission to pick up dinner to-go for the kiddo at home. The mission was simple - Bean and Cheese Burrito with Steak. Nothing more, nothing less.I walked in, sat at the bar, ordered a drink (drink was decent) and shared my mission with the bartender. I was explicit. Instructions were clear. burrito for kid (7yo)- Beans, Cheese, Steak. Nothing more, nothing less.Please note- the kitchen must have felt especially creative tonight when they decided to go rogue and add rice to the Bean… Cheese…Steak burrito.Ladies and gentlemen, after 35 minutes of waiting, this cowboy behind the bar charged me $18 for this travesty below:You can decide for yourself if you think it is worth it.

At first we were really excited about the margaritas. There are so many different kinds.My favorite was the pineapple jalapeño Marg.The food was SO good. Flavorful. BIG portions. I wish I could have eaten everything on my plate.The staff was super friendly and helpful. Multiple employees helped us any time they thought we may need something. 10/10 recommend coming here.

The food was yummy we did have a bit of a wait but it was a Friday evening so it’s understandable. The top shelf margarita was delicious. I had the shrimp quesadillas from the appetizer menu and it comes with 3 single corn tortillas that are very crispy. Filled with cheese and a couple of shrimp with sour cream on top. We were seated on the top floor and it was very nice with good music.

I came here during the dinner rush on 4th of July weekend. The food was extremely greasy and mediocre. The waiter wasn't very friendly, and they made me a really spicy drink when I ordered a really mild one. Overall, I'd skip this place. There's way way better Mexican food in town and the service isn't very good either.

Loved the vegetarian options here. The local brew on tap was nice and refreshing too. Fast service! Parking was on the main street and we didn't have any trouble finding a vacant spot.

Best Mexican food we’ve ever had. Love the verde salsa they serve complimentary w/ chips. Red salsa has some heat, which is nice. Ordered enchiladas. Verde enchiladas, creamy smooth deliciousness. My husband ordered nachos. Fair priced. Left w/ take out box. Couldn’t finish. Refried beans & Spanish rice better than you get anywhere else. Yummy yummy

Always authentic food with great flavor! One of my husband’s favorite restaurants. The kids loved the fried ice cream and bean and cheese nachos. Margaritas are amazing too!
