Passport Office

Went this morning (a Friday) for my kids passports. Process went smoothly. Arrived at 7:33am, there was already about 12 people lined up. Doors opened at 8:30am sharp, over 50 people lining up at that time. Was done at 8:44am!

Looking to renew or get a passport? This Service Canada office is located inside Whitby mall. You are protected from the elements and can wait in line outside the office.I suggest coming there about 1 hour before opening time. Hours are posted in my pictures. Be sure to have your passport photos and completed passport application. 10 years passport is $160 and 5 years is $120. They accept credit card, debit card for payment.

People work here hard ,they may complain however they do , at times people do get angry as of all we are all people. My experience was pretty good. Reached by 8 am and out by 935 am on Monday. They all are organized, and this place is only for passports and biometric dont go for any other service. Make sure you follow the checklist, and you do not need to bring everyone in a family . If you have all the originals of them and live in the same house address. Please read the checklist and conditions that will help both parties.

Very nice and efficient location for passport services. The place is well located in Whitby mall.We reached at 7:50 am and there were around 11 people already in line. By the time the office opened there were around 50-60 people in line. The office opened sharp at 8:30 am and quickly called in people for application processing. There are around 17 counters and they quickly process all the applications.We were done with our application in 10 mins and left the office by 8:40 am. I was very impressedwith how efficient and fast the office employees are.Make sure you have all the necessary documents and you will be done in no time.Definitely a place to go if you have anything related to passport.

Amazing! Lined up at 7:30 am. About 20 people ahead. Bring a chair if you can’t stand. Doors opened at 8:30 am. Was done by 9 am and we had 4 passports to do. Lady who served us was very nice. I would highly recommend this location. You can do express passports here as well (need it within 2 weeks) however they do not do urgent (need within a day or two).

I had a great experience despite waiting 1hour and 40 minutes. It’s a busy place but I knew there would be a wait.My customer service agent Tina was awesome and thorough. She helped me through anything I missed and was very friendly.Passports can be a pain but overall I was very happy with my experience.

I was at the door at 7:30 am and waited as there was already a queue it was not very long when we joined, they opened at 8:30 AM, and there were about 14 counters so the service was pretty fast. First, counter checks for all your documents, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL YOUR DOCUMENTS OR THEY WILL SEND YOU BACK FROM HERE (which I feel is fair as they are not wasting time).Once they verify we had to wait for another 5 mins in the waiting area, after which we got a very nice lady who took her time to review all 3 of our applications(family), she was polite. Once everything was good she told us our passport would be at our home in 2 weeks.so once we got inside the office we were out in 30min.HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING BEFORE THEY OPEN!!!IT'S INSIDE THE MALL SO IT'S NOT GOING TO BE COLD.ONE OF THE BEST LOCATIONS!!!!

Excellent service! In contrast to other reviewers, I decided to walk in around noon on a weekday without appointment. There was no queue, went straight to a counter where they checked the documents and gave a token. After less than a 5 minute wait, I was called and the person who helped me with my application was very kind and courteous. All done, in and out in less than 15 minutes.

Despite reading some negative reviews and expecting a long wait time, my experience at this place was excellent. The security personnel courteously guided me to the first counter where my application was checked and I was given a number. The wait time to submit my application at counter 6 with Kelly was minimal and everything was handled efficiently. Kudos to all the employees for their great work!
