Scotsman Point Resort

Was here for a family reunion in June... Stayed in one of the older 3 bedroom cottages (7a) which had a great view of the water and had a wonderful breeze coming off the lake. Didn't really use any services, but the place was nice and kept well. The cottage was clean and functional.... Could have used some more electrical receptacles. Overall a great stay.

We have been going up to Scotsman point for over 16 years. There has been a recent change of ownership and subsequently a few of the cabins have been renovated. We have stayed in many of them, but enjoyed the newly renovated cabin number 16. Wonderful Lakefront in front of the Cottages, a safe Beach for children. The staff is friendly and helpful. We usually return a second or third time in one season alone. This is a quiet resort where you can relax and observe nature . Can't wait to go back next year!

Very nice experience in this beautiful place. Quite and clean. It’s bit chilly and cold but not bad at all. All appliances available. I just brought our foods, bedding and towels. Very friendly staffs and helpful.

Excellent Cottage for families, very neat and clean. They sanitize the cottage very well Most of the cottages are newly renovated. Kids friendly. Lots of activities for Adults and kids. We enjoy our stay a lot.Thanks to Kelly, Leslie and Rae. They accommodate our 5 cottages group with Pontoon ride. We recommend this resort to everyone.

Everyone loved it. Rented a 2 bedroom renovated cabin on the water. Took out a boat on our last day there. Used the bbq to cook a fantastic steak and enjoyed all they had to offer. My husband would come her ad a young boy and it didn't disappoint so many years later. The owners truly care about the property and try their best to make the guest experience the best it can be.

Great location! Good space between cabins. Great for our family reunion. Lots of activities, good service. Cabins are quite cozy. Only negative is that there is only one fire pit for the whole resort. Other than that, this is a great spot to spend a few days or week.

Beautiful and cozy cottage resort; perfect for couples, families, and groups. They have about 20 cottages closely nestled right on the bay of Lake Buckhorn. You are able to rent a boat alongside a cottage, if boating and fishing are your thing- and there are plenty of other activities available for all ages! Peaceful and idyllic, calming with a soft community feel. Whether you want to swim in the lake or kayak, watch a group movie on the projector on Tuesday Movie Night, join in on the fire pit smores, take a pontoon cruise, or simply hang out on the dock or beach- this place has it all, without being overwhelming or too congested. 100% recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous lake and the amenities are fantastic. Staff is super friendly and the cottages are spotless. The owners are super friendly and very helpful. Beautiful part of Ontario regardless of the season. You can't beat the fishing either!!!Can't wait to come back next year.

First time trying a cottage, as a couple we reserved it last minute as all resorts were booked out until the last day of the season. This one was very easy to book, all staff were friendly and helpful, very calm area around this time of the year as per the staff. Kitchen has all appliances and supplies, clean and wrapped, literally we brought only our bedding and towels. Everything else is available, excluding food, the nearest general store is in Buckhorn which is few minutes away by car. There is a really good pizza restaurant called Pizza Alloro. I honestly loved the place, serenity and calmness all together. I’ll definitely come back to it if i have the chance.

Amazing place to spend a weekend away fishing! Clean and adequately sized cabin for 4 people. Put the BBQ to good use and caught some good fish. Thanks for having us.
