Peterborough Public Library
Love the new renovation. Only visited the kids section but it was great. Love the play area for kids, the fish at the front desk, and the free craft time offered weekly. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I also love the summer reading challenge and that kids can win prizes for reading the most. It makes reading fun for kids which is awesome.

Peterborough Public Library
My family has frequented this library for many years. We have found so many wonderful books, videos, and children's activities to provide hours and hours of entertainment. Children's Story Time is a captivating experience for little ones. Sometimes it is in the park during the summer or at the Main Branch starting in the fall season. For families with little children, this library is excellent.For adults of any age, this library has audio books and large print books too. We love this place.

The library is in the middle of the city..it's stellar security guard lou rocks...Hard working & helpful Janitor and the friendly staff..Great reads ..Computer use and wifi...Kids sections and different activities for kids.Love me some libraryThanks ppL

The library staff were most helpful in setting up D for a library card as well as D now being able to access e-books online.Terrific library staff ... much thanks.(Feb 15/23) It was great seeing Kelly who is one of the best storytellers I have ever heard.Thanks for your exceptional efforts!

So many books it's hard to choose just a few, and if you can't find the book you want, they will help you borrow it from another library;so even if they don't have it, they will find it for you. Great staff and nice, clean atmosphere.

What a beautiful library by the government - the building is brand new and is located at downtown Peterborough.Got a lovely selection of books and DVD's - all free if you register.Registration is free for residents.They also have a whole floor and section for the kids with toys and everything to keep them busy.We love spending time here when we can- WiFi and internet are free.The only thing you pay for is printing which is really reasonable.You could spend hours in here if you wish too and the staff are excellent - friendly and helpful.Parking your vehicle is a breeze as there is plenty of parking.A really good initiative by the government.

FOL book sale was incredible! They raise an amazing amount of money for the library and have incredible volunteers!The guy at the door was the best greeter/promoter ever!

Lovely library! Very friendly staff & volunteers. It's always clean and tidy, and the resources are extensive. Calendar of events is always so full.We love going to the PPL!!
