Foothills Alliance Preschool & Kindergarten

My daughter attended preschool, and currently attends Jr. Kindergarten at Foothills School. She is also registered for Kindergarten there in the fall as well. It is an excellent school that makes learning fun! My daughter loves going there. The teachers are amazing and the activities are so hands on and fun. Children become well prepared for grade one and beyond at Foothills Alliance School. I would highly recommend it!

Foothills Alliance School is just the most wonderful place for your littles! They have a carefully curated top-notch Alberta Curriculum program for 3-5 year olds and have recently added a Kindergarten program!Our two boys have gone through the 3/4 year old and Jr. Kindergarten programs. The teachers are wonderful, caring and just put so much joy into their teaching. My boys loved going to school and asked to go everyday.The office staff is organized and very knowledgeable with the program.Thank you to Mrs. Sparks and Mrs. Calder for loving our boys and bringing the wonders of play and education together.

My daughter is currently enrolled in the Pre-School program at this school. Her teacher is Mrs Komori. Mrs Komori has been a wonderful teacher. I honestly can’t say enough great things about her. She has made our first experience in school a memorable one. She has taken the time to work one on one with my daughter and I to ensure we are both happy and more importantly, to make sure my daughter is comfortable at school. I highly recommend this school and even more highly recommend registering for a class that Mrs Komori teaches. She is kind and gentle with the children but also knows when to discipline them. I can only hope to have such wonderful teachers for my daughter throughout her school years.Update:I would like to add that my daughter has Mrs Sparks as her teacher this year (2018/2019). Mrs Sparks has exceeded my expectations. She is such a kind, smart, caring teacher and you can tell she really loves her job and teaching the children. I especially love that she is so crafty and the crafts she gets the kids to do in class are awesome!Overall a really great school. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We will be sending our son to this school once he is old enough :)

Wonderful school especially if your little one is having some challenges. Our son was a PUF student and their team was absolutely wonderful. They do offer some extra classes (for free when you are PUF) to help your kid reach their full potential. The entire team is absolutely wonderful. A big thank you to Janet who is in charge of the Solid Foundations program!

I could not feel more proud and relieved that my son has gone to this school and had Mrs. Komori as his teacher! Every step of the way she has been encouraging and wonderful to my son and has made me feel at home there too! She is an amazing preschool teacher and I have been very impressed by her! If you do decide to enroll your little one at this school choose a class with Mrs. Komori. You will not be disappointed! My son and the other children adore her!

Wonderful School. We sent both of our children to the Preschool and our oldest attended the Kindergarten as well. Over the past three years I have felt that I was leaving my children in capable, loving and respectful hands. Even when one of them didn't want to go to school on a given morning our teacher, or the teacher's aide would gently bring her in and give her some extra attention so that within a few minutes she was happily playing and learning. Mrs. Calder, our preschool teacher, sat down and gave each child a personal greeting with a handshake every morning. My youngest especially came home from class each time bubbling over with all the things she wanted to tell me about her morning at school. There are also various resources for parents and students for anyone who wants or needs outside of class time. I am so glad we chose this school to start our children's education. We have had a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a Preschool/Kindergarten.

This review is long overdue, but my son attended this school in 2020-2021 for preschool with Mrs Sparks. I have nothing but love for this school and this teacher. Each teacher has a teacher's assistant so there are 2 adults supervising and teaching a class of about 15. Very safe and clean during covid my son rarely got sick as they were always wiping everything down. They take students on field trips to the park and they have a full size school gymnasium which we loved. We will be sending his little brother here when he turns 4.

Foothills Alliance School enriched my children's lives and gave them the foundation for school! If you are looking for a preschool, look no further. The staff are filled with so much joy and energy your child will be engaged and learn so much! from fine motor skills, socialization and to be a good human! Your child will never want to leave. You can enroll as early as age 3 all the way up to Kindergarten!! This is 'THE one"

We had heard great things about Foothills Alliance School and decided to enroll our daughter into the junior kindergarten program this last year. We are so happy we did! She has had a fantastic year of learning and growth! Mrs Calder, the teacher, takes the time to form strong relationships with the students and her care and concern for each student is obvious from day one. Our daughter quickly felt comfortable and was happy going to school every day. She learned so much about many different topics and came home excited to share her learning. We really valued the Christian education and knowledge that was taught in such a fun way. There were many special days and celebrations that were put on and they were all fantastic! The kids enjoyed the special Christmas performance and it was so well done! Great effort is put into the Mother's Day and Father's Day celebrations as well. The staff puts forth great effort to make all events a special experience for the kids and their families. Our only complaint about this school is that it does not continue on until grade 6!

We just finished our first year of preschool at Foothills Alliance Preschool and absolutely loved it. Our teacher was phenominal; she genuinely cared about the students, had an abundance of patience, and was quick to encourage and reassure the parents. The school is incredibly well run and organized, and keeps the parents informed and involved. Dropping my daughter off at, and picking her up from school was always such a highlight for me and my 1.5yr old son as well. We always felt welcomed and affirmed, and were so impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of all of the staff. My daughter will continue attending for another 2 years, and we eagerly await the day when her younger bother will join!
