I purchased their Kast Krete concrete mix for an art project I am working on. I'm a novice when it comes to concrete so I did as much research as I could to get a better understanding of what I needed and what to ask for. The staff at Starpatch were incredibly helpful. The Kast Krete mix that was recommended can be tricky to use due to it's fast setting nature, but the preparation tips and guidance Starpatch provided prepared me pretty well for what to expect. I'm jazzed with the results and pretty grateful to Starpatch for making the whole process easy for a newbie.

Friendly staff who know their stuff. I've been here for three projects- a couple kitchen counters about 5 years ago, a large concrete floor project, and just recently another counter project.Their mixes for concrete counters are awesome. Between the 6 or 7 counters I've made now using both the counter mix and the kast krete I haven't had any cracking, cosmetic, or structural issues. The guys working there will take the time to show you how to use their products- they spent probably an hour just making sure I knew how to use the micro topping flooring product they sell before I walked away with it.Their prices are very reasonable and they don't try to sell you on things you don't need. Any time I need any decorative concrete I am more than happy to make the drive here (I don't live anywhere close) just because of the products they carry and the service. It's the kind of place you want to give your business to.
