Excellent customer service from start to finish. All our options were described to us up front, and we never felt pressured to spend more than what we felt we needed. Shannon was exceptionally helpful and kind, even taking immediate action when our loved one's obituary was co-opted by an unscrupulous online vendor. She handled all our requests promptly and with the utmost professionalism. All the other staff we met were very polite and respectful as well, and the facility was clean and well appointed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Taylor Funeral Home in Newmarket.

We had a wonderful experience with Taylor Funeral Home.They treated us like family from the first time we met with Glenda to plan my husband’s funeral.Glenda was incredible and walked us through the entire process with such grace.She came to the hospice to help us with the plans before my husband died and detailed all of our options.Jason and his staff are absolutely amazing.The entire day of my husband’s memorial was absolutely beautiful and went smoothly.The entire team really works hard from start to finish and treats you like family.Even after the memorial they welcome you back and take the time to help you sort things out.Jason, I can’t thank you enough for all that your team did to help me honour my husband.

My husband passed away in March from ALS. There are no words to say how much the Taylor Funeral Home in Newmarket Ontario helped me through this unbelievably difficult time. They took care of every single detail I had no idea to think about. And they did it with so much empathy and care I truly would consider them friends now. It's taken me near 2 years to write this.My daughter was born a angel at south lake at 33 weeks. We had no idea how to continue with life nevermind arrangements. We called and the women that helped us we could never repay. It was Mother's Day weekend, she came when were were ready and took special care of our little girl. She gave me comfort that no one could give me. I knew my little girl was safe with her and not just left behind in the unknown. Thank you Taylors.

I had recently had a funeral for my dad and my family had came to Taylor Funeral Home to help us with arrangements. I was quite happy with how it was planned and set up during COVID restrictions and times. The staff was very supportive, respectful and professional. They kept to a safe COVID policy to insure safety with hand sanitizer, mask, temperature checks and timed visits in the room with a maximum number of people allowed. If you're in the Newmarket area or nearby, highly recommend this place. They make it smooth and easy as possible in hard times.

They turned the tragic passing of my mother such a beautiful experience. Honestly, this was the best place I could have imagined and more to say goodbye to my mom. Peter was hands down amazing. I hope my children will one day experience my funeral the same way I did my mothers. They treated me with such compassion and they treated my departed mother with so much kindness and respect. My father in law passed away last weekend and we had no arrangements in place. Had no real idea where to start or what to do.
