There aren't enough words to describe how wonderful Melody and her team were leading up to and on our wedding day. We hired Melody and her team for day of coordination but what we received was SO MUCH MORE. The month leading up to our event, Melody and her lead coordinator, Taylor put together the most comprehensive timeline not only myself but all my bridesmaids have ever seen. Going into wedding day, we felt prepared and comforted knowing Taylor and Anna were going to take care of everything day of. They asked questions I hadn't even though of to ensure all went off without a hitch.The day of, it rained and then stopped - Taylor and Anna pivoted quickly to set up our entire ceremony site outside after it was already set indoors. They truly went above and beyond to make sure myself and husband were happy and unaware of any hiccups. I had a strong vision planned for decor set-up but was unsure how it would all come together. During our reception reveal, I audibly gasped and shed a few tears. They did even better than I ever could have imagined. Each space was perfectly executed and they treated each guest touchpoint as as design opportunity.Take down was flawless, everything was packed to perfection and easy to find next day unloading. Timing was impeccable, we ran not a minute behind all evening and they were accessible throughout the entire night.They blew our expectations out of the water and we highly recommend Melody and her team to anyone planning a wedding!

It honestly is going to be hard for me to put into words how amazing Melody and her team was throughout my whole wedding process.For months, weeks, days leading up to my wedding, Melody responded to my emails within minutes of sending them. She was always available to answer any questions I had, and really had clear communication. She also communicated with all my vendors which was LIFE SAVING. This was definitely not something I had considered in the planning process, and just when I started feeling overwhelmed with all the vendor responses, Melody would step in to respond/clarify any questions.We had a design meeting where she got all my ideas and inspiration, and a final meeting where we discussed timeline, and all the final details her and her team needed. It was a little scary to me, thinking maybe they wouldn’t understand my vision and my day could have looked different than I wanted, but when I walked into my reception room once it was done… it was straight out of my dreams, and they absolutely nailed it. Seeing the whole room come together was something I was definitely nervous about, and they really made my dreams turn into a reality.Now onto day of my wedding and Julia and Taylor as my coordinators. The calm, cool, and collective presence these two bring is what every bride needs. I never felt like they were bombarding me with questions or felt like they were stressed out. When I say I didn’t have to worry about a THING day of, I mean it. There were different times of the day where I thought “oh I should go in and check with Julia to make sure she knows what to do.” Obviously I didn’t have time, but after a while, I realized that they got it, and I could TRULY let go, enjoy my wedding day, and not have any worries or stresses.Having a wedding planner/day of coordinator is something every bride needs, but specifically Melody, Julia, and Taylor was a dream team to work with, and I’ve never been happier. Best day of my life.

We booked with Events by Melody for Day of Coordination services for our wedding. Through the course of planning we decided to get this coordinator to help make the day of a success. My now wife and I are extremely pleased with the services we received and would recommend that anyone book with them too.Our introduction with Melody was professional and seamless. From the onset we were comforted that communication was swift, services discussed matched the description, and we had a clear understanding of what came next.Between introduction and ramp up services pre-wedding, Melody and her team went the extra mile in terms of communications and nice gestures. The clear attention to detail and demonstrated value of their customers helped confirm we made the right choice with our funds and vendor selection.Formal ramp up of services T-1 Month to the wedding went great. Melody assigned Alexis as our lead coordinator and coordinated a kickoff with all of us for a virtual meeting. Ahead of the session we were provided a clear list of items to bring as well as a questionnaire to fill out. We did so on time and were pleased that both Melody and Alexis had clearly taken the time to get familiar with our plan and were already experts by the time we talked through it for the first time together. They synthesized all the material so well that it almost felt like they had planned it from the start and we all confirmed quickly.From there they did extensive work both with us and behind the scenes to confirm all the vendors were marching to the same beat. They helped provide some good suggestions, identified some gaps my wife and I missed before, and generally helped polish the plan for success. It really helped ease the tension leading up to the wedding.Day of went perfectly. Lead coordinator Alexis and assistant coordinator Anna both arrived on time and ready to rock. They helped setup decor exceptionally well, kept us on track, coordinated questions and tasks across us all, helped with transitions, and much more all while being pleasant and upbeat. Somehow they struck the balance perfectly of being active and forefront when needed while also behind-the-scenes and seamless at the same time.I'll admit it was originally difficult for us to opt into a seemingly extra" cost of day of coordination when we already had so much tied up financially in our event. Those concerns faded away quickly and we feel we received exceptional value. We would highly recommend Events by Melody to anyone looking to make their event a success!"

We were able to work with Melody and her team for our wedding this February. When we got engaged a year ago, we knew we wanted to have a wedding within the year, and we knew we'd need some help. We interviewed a few different wedding planners, and Melody was clearly the best choice. She helped keep us on task, helped with vendors, and her team was essential to our wedding day success. There are so many things that go into a wedding, many that you simply wouldn't think of, and Melody made sure it was all taken care of. Melody is organized, clear, and not afraid to make suggestions. Melody Hall is WORTH IT ALL! If you’re considering a wedding planner, or planner for a corporate event, just know you can’t go wrong with Events by Melody. On May 19, 2018 I made the best decision of my life marrying my husband. My next best decision was having Melody and her team there to run my big day. Melody is extremely organized and knows the answer to everything. (Literally) I’m so glad I did partial planning and day-of coordination because times have changed and Melody knows all the latest modern wedding trends. Instead of searching through hundreds of blogs for answers, Melody was just a text or call away. She is always very fast to respond and can hook you up with some of the best, most economical vendors in Minneapolis. Melody truly goes above and beyond for her clients. When I was putting together my invitations, she proof read them for me and made suggestions on wording until it was perfect. There’s nothing better than having a planner as you approach your event. Melody did all the communicating with vendors, planned the logistics, mapped out our timeline and even handed out our vendor tips so we didn’t have to worry about a thing! All our vendors loved Melody and got along with her very well! Melody is very fun to work with and she’s the backbone you need on the day of your event. I will forever stay friends with Melody and will rave about her for the rest of my life! If your date is open, I’d book it before it’s gone. She’s the best value you can get in a planner and I know how fast she books. Melody, thank you from the bottom of Jake and I’s hearts for making our special day so perfect. Oh my goodness, where to start with Melody and her team. I worked with Melody for the month leading up to my wedding and she took so much weight off my shoulders. I didn't know how nice it would be to have someone helping to create timelines, check in and confirm all vendors (arrival times, all the details, etc). I have heard the two weeks leading up to your wedding are the most stressful and I didn't feel that way at all.Then on the wedding day itself I worked with the phenomenal Taylor and her assistant Anna. Taylor was more than I ever could have dreamed. She was calm, was always there to get anything I or my family/bridal party needed. All the vendors had a go to person, she organized the rehearsal, got me a glass of champagne all night, she (and Anna) at one point were on their hands and knees scrubbing out the dirt from my dress (it was a rainy day) and I was just in disbelief on everything they did!! Not to mention they were a blast to be around. I would not have enjoyed my day as much as I did if it wasn't for Taylor and Anna. I'd use Melody and her team again in a heartbeat!!

Events by Melody was personally referred to me by Anna Hren and I could not be happier with our decision and experience working with Melody and her team! I have heard from so many brides how stressful wedding planning and the big day can be, and I can honestly say it was one of the best and least stressful experiences for me and my husband.Melody was amazing in making any idea and vision I had happen and connected me with vendors that could bring my vision to life. Melody and her team made sure that everything was in order and accounted for leading up to the big day. Any questions I had, she was happy and eager to answer. She was instrumental in reaching out to all of my vendors and coordinating all of the logistics so I did not have to worry about a thing. I cannot even tell you how incredible it was to not have to worry about or focus on anything other than marrying the love of my life.Our Day-Of Coordinator, Taylor Curley, and Assistant Coordinator, Anna Hren, were absolutely PHENOMENAL to work with. I received countless compliments from my guests on how amazing they were. They went absolutely above and beyond- and I am so thankful they were a part of our big day. Taylor didn’t hesitate to run out to buy me a needle and thread when I forgot my sewing kit in my car that I left at the hotel. And Anna personally sewed my sleeves into my wedding dress when the buttons meant to secure them kept popping off. These ladies also left me absolutely speechless with our reception reveal- it was better than anything I could have envisioned.Thank you Melody, Taylor and Anna for making our wedding even better than our wildest dreams. I cannot recommend Events by Melody enough!!

Melody and her team were always extremely organized, friendly and helpful! Melody consistently responded to any questions or emails so promptly! Having them there for Day of Coordination absolutely made our wedding day a better experience and our families loved the support as well. Couldn’t imagine our wedding without them!
