Unleashed in the City

As a former employee, I can say that Unleashed in the City has the most love, care and respect for all their dogs. It is a stress free environment where dogs are able to move at their own pace no matter their skill level, and staff will accommodate to your dogs needs. They do everything to ensure that your pets are comfortable, happy, learning and of course, having fun! I was blown away by the amount of dedication and thoroughness that goes into all of the hard work that you may not see behind the scenes!It was such a positive experience and would definitely recommend their programs to anyone!

Our dog has enjoyed the adventure hikes for 2 years and absolutely loves them. He always comes home tired and happy and the regular pictures/videos show you why! His recall skills are regularly reinforced and the team is proactive in talking to you about any behaviours you're trying to work on with your dog (recall, polite greetings, barking, etc). Unleashed has been a life saver during covid and ensuring we have an active, healthy dog!

Kate & her team have been instrumental to helping me raise my dog. From a his early days as a puppy, Unleashed had been like his second family and home. Kate was awesome providing me with loads of guidance and tips to help me along the way as a new puppy owner. With my busy travel & work schedule, it was piece of mind knowing that I had the extra help to reinforce his training, My dog is turning 5 next month, went from from Puppy Play Care to Adventure Hike enthusiast with Kate and her team.

Our 1.5 year old pup started having leash reactivity and had regressed from all of her prior puppy training. One day at the dog park I was watching these amazing trainers working with their dogs and showing each one so much love and care, and I was so impressed I asked who they were and that is how we found Unleashed in the City. Since our pup started working with them she has made huge improvements, her re-call is back and walking on leash in the city is getting easier. It's made such a difference and we are super grateful we found them. Kate and her team really care about our dogs progress and happiness and are professional and reliable. Couldn't be happier!

We started sending our pup to Unleashed during the pandemic because he was getting super attached to us and we wanted to build up his independence. What a great decision that was! For the last few months, our twice-weekly Adventure Hikes have been a lifesaver. Our pup is stimulated and comes home happy and tired from a big play. Kate and Sierra are highly communicative and show so much care and love for all the pups. Regular photos and videos of their adventures are a perfect way to get a glimpse into the fun the pups have while they're away! We've recommended Unleashed to friends who are already loving it!

We just finished our first month and I only have great things to say about our experience so far. Our dog sprints there in the morning - she can’t wait to see all her friends in both human and pup form and then she comes home tuckered out, needs fulfilled. The staff are wonderful and care so much about the dogs and their humans! They are so supportive; answering all our questions and checking in on us and our pup.Our puppy has already learned some new skills and made some great pals, we can’t wait to see our pup continue to learn and grow at Unleashed in the City.

Molly The Dog loves going on hikes with Unleashed. She will sit at the window or on the porch looking for their arrival, she can’t wait to go. She has developed much better manners since she joined the hikes. The folks at Unleashed clearly love the dogs and the dogs love them back!

Unleashed is fantastic for our 2.5 year old pup! Kate and the team are professional, knowledgeable and truly love working with dogs. We saw such an amazing improvement In our guy and now gives us the confidence to have him off leash when the situation permits. His recall, car behaviour and socialization improved so much and we highly recommend unleashed!

Most genuine and engaging dog-loving staff! Our PWD, the happy, wet, black pooch in forefront of the photo, spent seven fantastic years running and leaping, playing and being supported, loved and encouraged by the team at Unleashed. Their pick up and drop off service is a joy and the trips to cherry beach were unequaled. The amazing photos of our Milo leaping, swimming and posing with his pack buddies told the tale. They are truly the most dedicated leaders around.

Dog heaven! Kate and the Unleashed team are fantastic, and provide the most amazing environment for our energetic pup, Winston, to thrive. He's been at 'camp' for >2 years now, 2x a week, and always come home happy, tired, and fulfilled.
