Advertising products which you don't carry adequate stock for is called a bait and switch. Doing this every week hurts all Canadians.So I let the Competition Bureau know and they should be in touch with your location soon.If you're also fed up with this practice, I highly suggest grabbing a quick photo, time and date, and the name of a manager you speak to about the issue. Let the government know enough is enough.

Went this morning to grab my weekly groceries and was incredibly disappointed in the quality of produce being sold, for full price. Some of what was available was inedible or on the verge of rotting. Is this really acceptable? Would the managers take this home to feed their families? Food prices have becomes outrageous and the quality here has certainly disappeared along with that.

Never have specials!!Don't have enough lanes open but won't allow carts in self checkout, carts lock up if your parked on side off lot and won't allow you to return,... just to list a few annoying things here

Two of the staff members I believe one is the manager have such a terrible attitude. I have encountered 3 different situations in which I didn't write or speak with anyone because I understand people have bad days but these two seems like they are just like that.

Lower prices than most other grocery stores (not saying much these days), decent inventory selection for a minimalist grocery store - when they actually stock the shelves, that is.Now for the bad. This place has some serious problems.1) The eggs are always broken. I have to spend a lot of time checking a lot of egg cartons before I find one that actually has a dozen intact eggs.2) Shelves go unstocked. Half the time I can't find common, basic items that shouldn't be scarce. I'm sure they have it, but their employees just aren't stocking the shelves.3) Spoiled produce. At least half the time the only fresh vegetables available are wilting and going bad, not worth purchasing. They leave produce to sit for far too long until it's almost rotten. Maybe if they weren't charging $4 for a single head of broccoli and $2.50 for a single onion the produce would sell quicker. Just maybe.These and other problems I haven't mentioned are all due to poor management and a lack of supervision of the young employees. The store employs a lot of young teenage boys who look to be no older than 14 or 15. They roam around the store socializing and slacking off. I have seen them playing with box cutter knives and horsing around the way teen boys do without a manager or supervisor in sight. This is why the shelves go unstocked, why the eggs are broken, and why produce is left on the shelves to rot. Meanwhile, all the female employees work the cash register or customer service or supervise the self-checkout. They are actually working. This indicates very poor management. A store where there is strict gender segregation, where all the young women are assigned to customer-facing roles and have to actually work while the young male employees are free to hang out, horse around and do nothing indicates sexist, chauvinistic management with their heads straight up their rears. Way to go, Gary. You sure know how to pick 'em.I only shop here because I live very close by and do not currently own a vehicle. But I will shop anywhere else any opportunity I get. Easily one of the worst grocery stores in the city.

I switched to this location for convenience, however, three weeks in a row there have been issues with my produce/bakery items. Two days after buying my cucumber it was mush. The cherry tomatoes were all full of mold. And 4 days after buying a package of English muffins they were moldy too. It’s worth the drive to go to another store when I have to keep throwing out the food I bought at this location. Third strike and I won’t go back now.
