We pass by the area and had lunch in this restaurant. We ordered the unagi Don and also the set lunch.The unagi Don is generous but the sauce is really salty… so it’s an average quality in my opinionThe set lunch , we picked the one that included “the best of everything” as per menu description. The fish is average and the beef is quite salty for my preference. This meal gives me the “average” impression.

Our family recently moved from BC, so when Mye was highly recommended by multiple people, my son and I decided to go.We arrived approx 745pm on a Wednesday without a reservation and asked for a booth but all had 8pm res/holds. We opted for a half booth closest to the kitchen/sushi bar as there was a large table of diners at the other end. The atmospere is upscale and elegant. Our server warm, friendly and professional.I ordered agedashi tofu as an appetizer and a green dragon roll, my son ordered the Mye Gozen ~the best of everything in the house~ as an entree and chose the miso soup as his appetizer along with an alcoholic beverage.As soon as the first food items were brought to the table, what I thought of as 1 persistent fruit fly buzzed our food repeatedly. Then we realized that the wall at the end of the table had multiple (6+) fruit flies on it. We eventually moved tables. Our server was lovely, embarrassed and apologetic and said that she would inform her manager. Said manager did not once approach our table.All of the food arrived but not my green dragon roll. After significant time of watching my son work his way through his entree, I had to call over the waitress and ask for my roll and as it hadnt even been started, it arrived very late to the meal. From this point the service declined. Even after piling our empty dishes to one side of the table I still needed to flag our server to request the bill and once received (I had my credit card ready) she disappeared again. Another 10 to 15 minutes and I just want to go. I position my cc so it's poking out of the top of billfold-no one noticed so I held it in my hand waving it slightly to attract attention so we could pay and go. Bill was $91, tipped 20%.The truth is, I more than likely would not have posted a review if management had taken a moment to check in with us after we moved tables. Or if the $7 appetizer had been removed from our bill. But the flies, switching tables and temporarily lost green dragon roll (I believe this last is what did our server in) plus that management was aware that this was our first time dining at their establishment -we had mentioned on arrival that we were new customers and that Mye had been recommended to our family- had us leaving the restaurant glad the experience was over.Unlikely to return.

The restaurant is clean and quiet, well decorated and cozy, food as posted looks appetizing and taste delicious, all dishes are amazing except the beef which is a bit salty for me but good for my friend, so all good.and also the service is great, the girl is so nice, will bring my friends again next time.

We came from Niagara Falls just based on google reviews ! Then we walked in and we’re stunned by the beautiful zen design. Everything feels clean and beautiful… and very professional.The staff was lovely and Christina our waitress was an amazing conversationalist who made us laugh and made sure we would return again.Hats off to the kitchen A+I feel like suggesting this place to MichelinCheers,Patrick and Juliana

I've been away from Oakville for many years and was pleasantly surprised on my recent return to find that Mye had relocated very close to my new location. I recall visiting their original downtown Oakville location with my family, but I was too young then to fully appreciate it.Regardless, I'm thrilled that their quality and service persist. I had an outstanding dinner here today and, in my wife's words, this is now our new favourite restaurant in Oakville.

Found this place on Google Maps while I was looking for places to eat between jobs. The plaza is a bit difficult to get into if you are coming down Trafalgar.Mye 2 has a traditional feel to it, the booths are comfy and it's not very noisy. I loved how by coincidence the placement of my mat was right underneath their ceiling light, creating a very photogenic composition to which I put my dishes under before taking a photo. I went to dine by myself for lunch around 1:30PM and since it wasn't busy I was able to be seated right away.I ordered a Ramen and it came with a salad, the salad was very good and the vinaigrette dressing was not too acidic. The ramen broth was delicious and very flavourful. The noodles weren't super long which I liked because it made it easier to put on the spoon before consuming. The black pepper added a bit of kick to the ramen as well.I was out by 2:30 as that is when they close for break. I would come back again to try another one of their lunch mains. ☺️

Amazing authentic food. Fresh as fresh can be. Service is attentive, fast, and friendly. Some guests feel the the need to pour on an extensive amount of perfume, and in a one room space everyone gets to share that special smell, and you end up tasting it in your food.

Delicious and Authentic Japanese Food. Fresh ingredients and very friendly and attentive staff. Fingers crossed that we win the $50 gift certificate because we will definitely be back! Mochi ice cream is always a bonus too.
