I have been to this store several times and will firstly say that all of the staff are always extremely pleasant and helpful. The reason for my 3 star review is I tried to return 3 cans of cat food that I purchased from the Richmond Hill location. I was told this wasn't possible because they didn't have this item in their store and that if I could find it somewhere maybe it could be done? This honestly made no sense to me and I have reviewed the verbiage on the receipt, as well as the return policy on Pet Valu's website and there is no mention of such a rule. There needs to be more consistency amongst the different stores. Thank you.

Amazing and helpful staff! I called in looking for a leash to help control my puppy during my walks. I spoke to Nicky who asked me to bring my puppy along to find a leash that best fits/suits him. Not only did she help find the best fitting leash, but she also showed me how to walk him and train him while using it. He is now well behaved and easy to control during our walks. I highly recommend this location to anyone who asks!

Amazing customer service from Richard! He had rescued me and my muddy golden Buddy by letting us use the self serve dog wash facility at his store in the late evening. Really appreciate that he had allowed us to use the dog wash station beyond the last appointment cut off time. Richard patiently waited for us to finish the bath after 1.5hrs and checked us out with a great smile. He still had to cleanup the station when it’s getting late and close to the store closing time. Really appreciate the great customer service and his friendly attitude! Will definitely come back (after the draining issue has been fixed though ;))THANK YOU RICHARD!

The staff are helpful and kind. But the owner/manager is one in a million. He’s a super friendly guy, who truly cares and loves the work he’s doing. I recommend this location, over any other. And this store over any other. I have even found good prices here that were cheaper than petsmart.

Was going to this place for a couple of years. Recently purchased spoiled food and returned it no problem. However was very shocked couple weeks later to come home with another package of the same spoiled food that I was told would be taken off the shelf (same batch number). When I asked him why that happened he said I was the only one that complained. BUT HE KNEW and chose to put that product back on the shelf for other people to buy. Not cool.

Great store with plenty of selections for what you might be looking for. The staff are always super friendly and welcoming. Their prices are on the higher side comparing to Petsmart.
