DIY Garage

Went to change my tires and did not have the experience to use the machine correctly with my 225/40/r18 as they are low profile and we're a bit tight. The guy offered to do it for me and I agreed. It took him about 15 minutes since we were just mounting and not balancing. In total I was there for less than an hour. However the bill came up to 80 plus tax which is more than I would have paid to get them mounted and balanced professionally with tire disposal included. Not sure how that charge makes sense given the 50/hr rate but I am not one to haggle and give people a hard time. Anyways make sure to ask what they are going to charge you before accepting help. Other than the pricing not making sense it is a nice shop and friendly people. Would definitely go again and apply what I learned to hopefully be able to do my tires myself next time.

DIY Garage is a great place to go to if you want to work on your car yourself and save money. I went in to replace my exhaust was a clean job, I was only charged by how much time the job took. The guy over there cares and will help anyone that needs help with a little extra charge of course, but it would be a professional who's going to help you so it only makes sense.Overall I definitely recommend going to this place 10/10

The attendant was friendly. He explained hoist operation is only performed by him, which was fine with me. I am thankful to have brought some of my own tools since the place seemed to be lacking a good assortment. I asked the attendant for a bottle jack, but couldn't provide one. With that said, DIY Garage is a great cost effective place to do work on vehicles.

The best Garage and trustworthy vehicle Mechanic's. I went in there without any prior appointment and they were able to entertain myself. Price for their service is unbeatable. Specially, hats off to John, he's an amazing personality and a hard working dude.Thanks John ..

I went to this place for the first time. Some people were already working on their cars. The owner there was helping one of customers car getting fixed.When I pulled my car into the garage the owner helped my car lifting up and left me without explaining or any rules. Literally, you have to do it your own from start to end. So make sure educate yourself before you go.If you ask the owner for help then he may charge 20-30 dollars more. Overall it was good place to take care of your car.

Im really sad to write this review. I promised I would through my excitement but unfortunately the Québécois gentleman was not there. Today, I was quoted 80$ an hour for my brakes on the phone. I had the car delivered and only to find out while I was at work.. the price had increased!! To my surprise when he says 80$ an hour .. apparently that’s for each part he installs!! It’s extremely dishonest advertising. I would rather pay 100$ an hour for honest labour. I paid 360$ for brakes and I brought all the pièces.. Please note this took less than 2 hours and they charged me 4.According to other reviews this seems to be the norm so I’m fortunate to be in a positon to do something about this Connery.

Had my first experience here today. Great place, they provide you with everything you need, any tool, grease, lube, etc. The place is clean and well organized, and the on-duty mechanic is great, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend to anyone who likes doing their own work but doesn't have the tools or facilities.

Great place to work on your own car if you don't have the space or the tools. $30/h for the 2 post lift is worth it.
