Compared to their competitors Safeway has the highest quality and the highest prices but sometimes they put a product on special for a very low price. Check flyer every week go for the specials.

Clean, well stocked. Most importantly, the staff are exceptional. Always polite and willing to help! They're produce is always well stocked and fresh looking.

The bakery here is fantastic, we only buy our buns and bread here. The cashiers are always friendly.

You can sit down and eat a sandwich from Safeway Deli and have starbucks at the same time.Docked 2 stars: This place needs better prices as the produce, dairy, eggs, and butter is hardly affordable anymore.

Got some nice flowers. Very helpful staff to suggest flowers for the occasion and make a bouquet for us.

Going there from 20 plus years. One of the best grocery store. Top quality. Bakery is always so fresh. Love the cheese cakes, strawberry short cakes and so on to list. Best staff ever.

I love this Safeway. Way better than Chalo and even Save on Foods. Great store and excellent service.

Just stood in 2 cashier lines, first one for 10 minutes and the cashier announced they were closing after the person ahead of us and couldn’t find his closed sign. Second line after another 10 minutes advised us that the $500 in gift cards we wanted to buy we couldn’t because they were not processing gift cards today. So I guess Save on Foods gets our business from now on. Won’t spend 20 minutes in line at North Delta Safeway ever again.Update - May 31, 2023Just had to run into this Safeway again, looking to cash in my lotto ticket. - pretty common to do where lotto tickets are sold. Asked a cashier about doing so, was told nope, they only sell self serve lotto tickets and cannot cash them or assist in any way. I was advised there was a lotto kiosk outside (that I had to walk past to enter the store and was closed or I would have obviously gone there) They also could not tell me the hours of the kiosk they recommend and abruptly walked away.So if there was a 0 star I would award that.Can’t help but think Safeway must be closing this location as their staff are definitely unhappy and as unfriendly as possible.
