I recently got connected with Samia Ishaq - General settlement counselor. She is extremely helpful and warm. She will give you all her undivided attention and will address all your questions. Her tone was extremely respectful and super kind. Would definitely recommend her to everyone who is looking for some immigration advice.

I wanted to thank the worker Svitlana Belenko for her professionalism and attitude towards her clients.We came to Canada to escape the war in Ukraine and were in a huge stress from being in a foreign land and not knowing what to do. We were really glad that we were advised to turn to Svitlana. We didn’t just give us advice on how to settle and adapt; she also gave us encouraging words, and uplifted us with her kind words. My elderly parents were touched to tears.Thank you very much to Svitlana for her professional help, kind heart and attitude. I also thank the centre for its help and wish it all the best.

After interacting with a few more staff, my experience with DBNC has been satisfactory. All other staff that I interacted with were not dismissive, not refusing to answer questions or to give information, not impolite or rude. They promptly served me and also accommodated me when I was late to an appointment. I would say those serving in the tax clinic serve clients quickly, effectively, efficiently. I would simply suggest to the organization manager or supervisor to review the customer service skills of the people clients have to interact with first (receptionists). Service and interaction are great once you get past the attitude and dismissiveness of 1 of the main receptionists. Unfortunately I do not have names, but there is an african-american receptionist who interacted with me both times and was very respectful, attentive and helpful. Speak to her and you will have a positive experience. Avoid the other one unless you welcome negative experiences and interactions.

Frozan Asifi of Dixie Bloor Neighborhood Center is very knowledgeable, patient and kind person. She helped me when my spousal sponsorship for my wife's application was first returned. She thoroughly went through all my forms, applications and helped me get the right documentation so that we were absolutely ready when we had to resubmit again. She is very prompt and will do her best no matter what to help you out.Thankyou DBNC and especially Frozan for the great work and help.

Nice place to get access to various services for those who need. I went in to get help filing my taxes. Overall a great experience. Soft spoken, kind and friendly staff.

I had a wonderful experience with this organisation. Their settlement counsellor, Miss Samia Ishaq, especially is a kind, empathetic and very knowledgeable person. I asked for some help while I was applying for my wife’s spousal sponsorship and she guided me throughout the process in a very professional way, going through all my forms and providing expert advise whenever I needed it.

Wonderful hospitality and services. Ms. Mariam helped us filling all the papers and advised to bring the required documents and informed us what’s the next step in our case. So they provide great deal of guidance.

I love the EarlyON program at the Burnhamthorpe library! I utilize their services on a semi-daily basis sometimes! The staff are just fantastic, they know all of the children's names, they're early child educators so you can have an educated, professional person to ask when you have any questions. It sure beats googling and being misinformed by mommy blogging opinions. You can build a real sense of community as most parents attend frequently as well. This facility is just beautiful, gorgeous, clean and inviting. My daughter always drinks from the fire hose when we get here. She loves it! 5 stars. Highly highly recommend
