Rating their online services. Got charged $80 in duty for a $100 order. Only choice is to refuse the shipment and have paid $50 in shipping and get nothing. Terrible. Yes they warned me there would be some duty but using an online calculator I thought it might be about $20. Terrible experience.

Great store for marine supplies, but will be closing in 2017.

Great marine store, knowledgeable staff.. Unfortunately its closing permanently June 16th as WestMarine USA decided to pull out of Canada.

I have made a few purchase from this local West Marine store over the past 6 months and every time I have had excellent service.I always call before I go, just to make sure that they have what I need, and each time they have taken the time to check the shelves or in the back to confirm. I have never been put on hold, and forgotten about ;-) which is more than I can say about many other stores these days.Once I get to the store the staff have helped me to find what I needed.They also made suggestions that saved me quite a bit of money by getting me to use my West Marine account, and even applied a $50 credit to my purchase for a promotion that I didn't even know about!Bottom line I very satisfied with this store and staff.

Not the same as us but have at least the minimum for your boat
