Fabulous service and excellent menu at the Robbie Burns last night!! Well done everyone at the clubhouse!!

I felt that the food on the brunch was not up to par. Also a limited selection for a buffet.

Beautiful course & Great breakfast

Had Easter Brunch here today and was pleasantly impressed. The staff and kitchen are obviously experienced handling large events. The quality and variety of items was excellent. The view of the river valley from the dining room makes this an especially nice place to visit.

Very well maintained course, great pro shop and staff.

Medicine Hat’s premier golf course & country club, MHG&CC is beautiful in it’s location, adjacent to and elevated above the South Saskatchewan River, centrally located withinour city.The course is well maintained, exquisitely landscaped, and a pleasure to play.It’s clubhouse, with river, golf course, andcity views, has a wide menu with somethingto appeal to everyone and is reasonably priced.Palatable offerings well presented with a Thursday night dinner special of all you can eat spaghetti for $9.95, or a pound of chicken wings, several flavours to choose from,same price.Staff and members are friendly and welcoming,ensuring you will return frequently.

Was excited to go to the Easter Buffet. Even the price didn't throw us off. However, when paying 23.95 per person, the 10 of us did expect to be able to have a taste of everything. We were in the last seating and had to pass several empty platters. The waitresses were setting up tables as we were getting our food so it was obvious that the buffet was over sold. The cheesecake set on the dessert table was the clear favourite and was gone by the time the last 40 or so were even finished going through the main buffet.But my final words are to say that our group was very pleased with the taste of the meal. Delicious. We will be sure to book for the Mother's day buffet.

This place has such amazing potential! The golf course is good and the views are incredible. It really is a beautiful place.However, the restaurant and clubhouse fall short of its surroundings. Both the menu and the dining room need some major updates — it all just feels a bit tired and stuck in the past.With beautiful wood beams and amazing views it wouldn’t take much to get the dining room into modern times. A fresh coat of paint, new bar top, modern light fixtures and better looking tables/chairs would go a long way.The food was pretty good, but the menu could for sure benefit from an update. No vegetarian or gluten free options and it mostly just felt like basic home cooking. You can tell things haven’t changed here for a long time.Overall it is a good experience. I just really hope to see such a stellar location get updated and with the times.
