Danielson Provincial Park Visitor Centre

Really nice facilities, kept clean. Nice trails all through the park. Will certainly return

My boyfriend and I went to the center on Sunday. The center looked neat and tidy. The Cafe burgers were great for the price . My issue that I had was to do with the service at the desk. The woman who worked there did not engage with me as a visitor. She only would talk to my boyfriend and basically followed him around the center whole time we were there. When we were in the Cafe she would keep coming over to the entrance to see what we were doing and as soon as I made eye contact she'd hurry into the ladies bathroom, then later she would come back out and immedately looked at my boyfriend, again I made eye contact and she'd take off . He went to go wash his hands and I went with him, to stand outside the door for him, I had a feeling that she would pop up again and I wasn't disappointed, her head came around the desk. She stopped short when she saw me standing at the door. She finally asked me a question about the Cafe food. Then she wouldn't talk me anymore, instead she just stood there til my boyfriend came out and just kept on staring at him. As a customer service provider myself, I would never treat visitors to my store like how my boyfriend and I were treated. Visitors would be treated equally, I would engage both of couples the same. Talk to them as they were spouses. I certainly wouldn't try to poach someone else's man.

We had a good time at the Park.Ice cream was good since the sun was really up during our visit.Bench for visitors are available.Bring a bug spray and water to hydrate!Danielson Provincial Park is located at the northern end of Lake Diefenbaker in the southern part of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. The park surrounds the Gardiner Dam, which was built in 1967 and is among the largest embankment dams in Canada and the world

Excellent place, friendly staff and park rangers. Alot of conservation officers which is good.

I have been coming to the visitor center for several decades. It is not big but has interesting information about the dam and the lake.The latest exhibit is Big Bert a prehistoric alligator.The beach is big and sandy and there is a small restaurant and concession stand.

A whole lot of walking to get to the water.

The visitor center is amazing, lots to see, a theatre, ice cream and shopping! The staff is wonderful and very helpful. I forgot my paddle and they are taking the time to look for it, I am so impressed and very thankful to them. A great place to visit.
