Italian Bakery's Mercato
This location is like a mini Italian Centre! Has a nicely stocked deli counter in the back, the various dry goods, as well as fresh produce. Not to mention a VERY large bakery section that has an overwhelming selection of treats to choose from! They also have a section for seating as well if you decide your pastries won't make it to the car. Also don't forget to grab one of the Hot or Mild Panini sandwiches in the fridges beside the cash registers! They are literally to die for!

All of the tables inside were dirty. I saw coffee cups with cafe rings. This was not a situation were a bunch of people just left. The staff just were not clearing tables. No manager was on site. The young teenager boy was harrassing the cashier. It was like fast times at Ridgemont high. I was stunned at the experience.

Fast service and good 'cinnamon' bun, except no cinnamon... Tasted great and large, but don't expect a true cinnamon bun. They can't warm it up either. Good coffee. We didn't check out the grocery store.

Plenty of parking with lots of other shops to visit. They have lots to choose from whether you're looking for Italian grocery items or stopping in for coffee and dessert. If you stop in for coffee and a snack, there is much tempting baking to choose from and beverages. I changed my mind a few times trying to decide what to order. The donuts are the best I've ever had in my opinion and my mocha was delicious to. We walked through the grocery isles after and prices are reasonable, all desserts are like gourmet. I will definitely stop in again (its got me considering moving to St Albert!).

Our favourite bakery - great selection in the deli, fresh pasta, and the bakery is amazing (we always grab a panini and the cup of tiramisu - clearly enjoying our meal too much to take a photo first).

The cafe is always busy so I was happy there was plenty of seating on a Friday.I have had their vegetable foccacia more than once and never been disappointed. I put pepper on my sandwich as I find it a bit bland without.My friend had the pizza pretzel, I think it's a new offering.

The staff were helpful and friendly. I ordered a cake for a birthday and it was very easy to get. The cake was bigger than I expected. Everyone was happy with it.Their dessert counter has so much to choose from. I really wanted to try everything.

I live in Toronto and my cousin lives in St Albert. Today was his birthday so I decided to call a few local bakeries for a pastry tray.I spoke to Sue, and she was amazing. It was short notice on a Sunday afternoon however she was able to put together a pastry platter quickly knowing how important it was to me. Amazing service (virtually on the phone), very patient with my requests. I arranged for pickup from a family member who brought it home just in time for the birthday dinner.The pastries look and taste amazing. Great variety (I was sent pictures and compliments on the quality from my cousin and family in St Albert). Thank you again Sue!!!
