Quarry Foot Care Clinic

The staff are great but the doctor is unprofessional and indifferent to patients' needs. I have a medical issue that requires a simple in-office surgical procedure, for which I was supposed to wait five weeks!. Today the office called to cancel it because now the doctor only does one of these 20-minute procedures ONCE a WEEK, instead of TWICE, so I am supposed to wait another few weeks. I'm off to Emerg before gangrene sets in.Staff do all the work there anyway, in my experience, and the doctor pops in just long enough to justify an OHIP billing. Like, no exaggeration, five seconds.

Generally not bad but today exceptionally bad. Arrived early for my appointment so knew I would have a wait for that but ended up with a one hour wait from my scheduled appointment. When I asked about the long wait the response was very rude then at the end when the next appointment is usually book it was not. I approached the front desk to book one, however the person at the desk did not look up or even acknowledge that I was there. In the end I just left.

Very poor staff as my mother has been canceled twice for her foot care in the course of 6 months. I would not recommend anyone to this place as when they cancel they have the nerve to say no one can do your nails " if someone could do her nails

BEST waiting room in Kingston. Theatre style seating has you watching the Nature Chanel on a large screen TV instead of being stared at by other Clients.Reminder calls are courteous and helpfulStaff are ALL professional and Caring.

Had an appointment today and the lady who called me back was pleasantly rude. She made several comments but the one that did it was: She asks do you smoke?" I say "no". She asks "do you use marijuana?" I say "Yes" and she says "well

Arrived with a developmentally delayed client and had to wait five minutes to see the receptionist (an elderly lady was confused because her appointment was being cancelled). When I got to the front of the line the receptionist cancelled the appointment for being late, despite getting to the office on time. When I brought this to her attention she referenced the late policy. Receptionist was brusque and unsympathetic. Terrible customer service.

I enjoy writing positive reviews. Indeed the CEO of St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto received 2 letters from me praising the treatment I experienced over a course of 4 back surgeries. (They did not know my father was a physician until 2 years after the fact. I was admitted as an emergency transfer patient when I fell experienced a burst fracture of L2. As he was deceased before this accident, he could not have possibly contacted the hospital. ) When I experience truly negative experiences, I can be pushed to the point of writing a negative letter or review. Sadly, this is one of those later occasions.As a newcomer to the area, my family doctor recommended Quarry for foot care. Yesterday , June 28, I was booked for an appointment at Quarry Foot Clinic. As I live on Wolfe Island, I lined up at the ferry at 9:45 a.m. to catch the 10:30 a.m. ferry to Kingston. This would give me ample time to get to my appointment booked for 11:15 a.m. It was one of those very rare occasions that the ferry was running late - 20-25 minutes late. Despite my best efforts, I arrived 12 minutes late for my appointment. I explained to the receptionist the reason for my unusual tardiness and she responded with no eye contact and a factual tone of voice that they “book appointments 15 minutes apart” and I would have to rebook- for August 19. She also said that after her current client that the health care provider was “done”. Then I saw the sign on the desk that indicated that they may run late due to the complexities of some cases ( and that patients would have to wait). Clearly, there is a double standard here.I would be remiss if I did not make suggestions on how to improve the client experience. Make eye contact. Smile. Say I am sorry. At the same time

Stopped traffic on the 401 resulted in us being 8 minutes late for my 91 year old father's appointment. The incredibly rude receptionist told us you've missed 10 minutes of his 15 minute appointment

I have to agree with the other negative reviews about the receptionists lack of people skills and the Dr.'s quick visits to meet OHIP requirements for payment. Obviously about the money when they charge a $2 parking fee in a Suburban environment.Cancelling patients appointments without discretion or notice is okay, but if you cancel without proper notice, you are subject to a cancellation fee!My last appointment was not entered in their computer. I had to wait for the next available technician. (She was rude) Not one apology from any of the 4 people I came in contact with, who new of this error. (Including the tech who failed to enter the appointment in the system)We all make mistakes, but at least treat people with respect!
