From our award-winning breakfasts to our famous fish tacos, we have the recipe for a fun and enjoyable dining experience. Our convenient location – situated at the bottom of Johnston Road along Highway 4 – and easy access to parking allows for a quick stop or long stay, depending on your needs. Whether you are full-time member of the Alberni Valley, or simply need to fuel up before a long day of hitting the famous waves of Tofino’s Long Beach, Pesky’s has you covered. There’s a good chance you will see an eagle, bear or other wildlife from one of the seats on our beautiful outdoor patio! Pescadores Bistro
Breakfast outside was great! Delicious Neptune Benny served on crab cakes (recommended). Excellent service (Laura ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) Extra bonus for dog-friendly patio AND a dog bacon treat. Even brought a water bowl for our pup. So glad to have stumbled upon this delightful bistro and have this wonderful experience on our Vancouver Island road trip. Highly recommend.

Pescadores Bistro
We went here as it was highly reviewed for breakfast and was the go to place. While it didn't turn out to be anything special we were still happy.It is your average local town breakfast spot with predictable consistency of food and coffee. I had the eggs Benedict which didn't have that freshly prepared bistro taste or presentation but was alright.I have to say the service was extremely friendly, polite and prompt at all times. The location is conveniently located right off the main highway through the city.

I did love this little restaurant....today, not so much. Our $14 Caesar was barely worth $3...and served an hour after ordering. If you can't handle the amount of tables you have hire more servers...and another cook....instead of having your wait staff make excuses. There is no excuse for a cheaply made salad". Sadly the owner

I got the seafood Benedict with crab cakes instead of English muffins which was absolutely delicious. My partner got their burger which he also said was great. Both the hash browns and fries could use a bit more seasoning but still a great spot

Very tasty. Portions were bigger than expected, and the food was excellent. Slight wait time on the prep of food, but not super bad. Lovely patio area, with big umbrellas for comfortable Temps. Food in photos: steak and eggs, Caesar salad, French toast (small) two stack.

I had the veggie eggs Benedict super good. Soft, veggies were fresh and as described. Avocado included in the standard plate. Easy parking. Fast service .For next time, would be good to know the crab cakes ingredients vs food intolerance thanks :)

Great place we came in for breakfast and had lunch. Staff were fabulous and portions were big. The family were all impressed. The outdoor seating is beautiful.You won't be upset

What a great little spot. Amazing vegan scramble packed with protein and fresh veggies. So delicious!! My husband and I make a special stop here on our way to Tofino because we enjoy the dish so much! Big servings and really friendly, fast service!

Had the Mexican Scrambler and it was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had! So tasty, hot and quickly dejected to my table with a smile! Would recommend this place to anyone! Great vibe!

Personally my favorite place in town. Specials are always great, staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. Area can get a little busy in the summer but lots of parking around.
