Dr. Linda Bohacek, General and Endocrine Surgery

Linda saved my life at the health sciences centre in St. John’s Newfoundland! It took her and her team of 20 to perform my surgery because of my obesity! ❤️❤️

Told her and the nurses the procedure wouldn't work without full sedation, refused to fully sedate me and they stopped the procedure after a few minutes because I, am emetephobe, couldn't handle being awake and having a tube shoved down my throat.

I was anxious about having surgery and met with Dr. Bohacek who explained the process fully and listened patiently to my questions and answered them in a way I could understand. Dr. Bohacek has a very pleasant manner about her and I came away from her office feeling so much more confident. Dr. Bohacek came to see me just before surgery and I was very reassured by what she said. I thank her for that and a successful conclusion to the surgery. Paula Franklin

My doctor referred me to Dr Linda Bohacek to get some help with a cyst as it has been causing me considerable pain and discomfort and is causing me sleeping issues due to its location. I was asked to reach out to Dr Bohacek office to arrange a consult, so after leaving several messages with no responses i contacted my doctor again who was able to reach Dr Bohacek office and arrange for me to speak with the doctor over the phone. I spoke with Dr Bohacek on the phone in the mid of February, once we spoke about my condition i was told they would arrange for me to come in, now almost 2 months later i have still not heard from the doctors office, no one returns my messages ( and i have left a ton of messages ) This doctor has made it very clear that for whatever reason she cant be bothered to help me or at least return my calls. I would warn anyone who is considering seeing this doctor to ask for another option, she clearly does not care about her patients or their pain.
