This is a no frills coffee, donut and lottery ticket spot. Their coffee and donut specials are a steal (small coffee and donuts for $2.75). They offer over a dozen types of donuts and are fully stocked in the morning, and usually sold out by the afternoon. You can buy and check your lottery tickets here. They also have multiple tables and a dining area. The coffee was great and the owner was very sweet and friendly. I'll definitely be coming back to try their other donuts.

There are some places that surprise you, and this is one of them. From the outside, you wouldn't think that the coffee is as good as it is, or that the food is as fresh and tasty as it is. The two owners, Joanne and Johnny, are friendly people, and they're always welcoming when you come into to get something. To me, South Creek Donuts represents a slice of the immigrant experience in Canada. Two people come to live their lives here, they work hard, they raise their family, and they run a business that becomes a kind of staple in the neighbourhood. When the weather is good, you'll see people sitting out front, sipping coffee and chatting. On most days there are a few people sitting inside, sometimes reading the paper, or watching the small TV in the corner that plays without sound. In the past, Johnny and Joanne would have a hot table with Chinese food for sale, and it was delicious. I haven't seen it lately, but the skill with which they made that food is evident in their sandwiches and snacks. It's a nice place, a place that adds character to the area and always feels welcoming.

I have no problem giving this dump one star! I read some of the glowing reviews on here and thought it would be a rather safe bet driving in from Oakville. I got there at 10:30 on a weekday morning and they had a grand total of 6 donuts on the racks. The place has a grubby, dingy appearance. The whole building is run-down and a bulldozer out of control could only improve the neighborhood. The woman behind the counter was friendly enough, but when I tried to order a donut, she told me that I had to pay cash. They did not accept debit or credit. Then there was the old guy sitting next to the door hunched over a paper. He was the only other occupant that I could see. I just wasn't impressed with the place. The donuts might be fine, but the appearance of the restaurant was dingy, dirty, and unappealing to me.

I've went to this coffee shop a lot of times throughout the years. To me, this place is just full of nostalgia and probably why I love so much (Its the one maple donut that remains on the tray). After reading some of the more critical reviews, I have some explanations. First of all, I've never considered that there was a lack of donuts, but then I remember; oh it was me who bought them all for the way home (─‿‿─). Another point is that some of the exterior labelling; so to speak... are misleading, because the place is old and no longer serves them. Subs... nope, must've ended in the 90s. Finally, lottery tickets... uwu I have no say in that. Overall, This coffee shop is full of childhood memories and I highly recommend this place. However, be sure to get there in time, or else all the apple fritters will be eradicated by the end of the day; due to my shear hunger (*´ڡ`●).

This is a old fashioned mom and pops donut shop. They have been here for a long time. We really enjoy coming here. Support the little guys, there coffee is great and cheaper than the big boys. Love it here. They have Jamaican patties, egg sandwiches and other options.

Great place for a quick bite, best tuna and egg salad sandwiches in the city. Friendly staff always greeted and fast service, been going here for over 20 years. Lots of parking even for a large truck or bus

The owners are an old Chinese couple who mostly sell lottery tickets at this coffee shop. The service is good, but the owner seems very cheap. She orders a variety of approximately 20 donuts as a guarantee to save money in case they dont sell. After 1 pm...the only product u can purchase is coffee or an old egg sandwich. The owners main aim is to sell lottery tickets and coffee. She uses the coffee-shop title as bait to lure customers for lottery tickets. Do not bothet going in aftet 1 pm brcause all you will find are empty racks especially after she sells her 20 donuts in the morning.

I go there early in the morning before heading out to work. Those who come late won’t get anything. It’s the way of life. The owners don’t want to over work in their retirement years by selling unlimited sandwich. All I know is coffee is fresh and sandwich is definitely fresh when I get them both for $5 in the morning. Sandwiches don’t last all day for them to serve the next day. As long as I work in the area I am going there and taking your sandwich.
