Enbridge Gas Inc; Stoney Creek

We have been calling Enbridge in Stoney Creek since August and have been told multiple times that we would get a call back within 48 hours. It has been 2.5 months and still not 1 call. We currently have no heat and no water heater. We are unable to have our water heater installed until our gas meter is raised and up to code. It is freezing out now and we can't get necessary construction done on our home because of this or move into our home. I am at a loss of what to do at this point. I just keep getting told we are getting put on a priority list and someone will call me back.

I would give less than zero stars if I could because these clowns are a total joke! Called me yesterday to threaten to send my account to collectors. Apparently, they claimed that the account at my address was closed and a new one opened, thus, my current account owed an outstanding balance (my march bill). I firmly and repeatedly told them that was impossible because I own that home so why would I close my own gas supply account??? Instead of understanding and trying to verify the situation, the agent kept arguing with me. After being asked to be transferred to the Concerned dept. I was put on hold and in only a few minutes, the line cut off. There was no call back. Called the next day (today) and this next agent automatically went on the defensive, trying to pretend like was was harassing her even though I asked her if my frustration was justified and she agreed. So it turns out someone opened an account online and accidentally" put my address instead of their own. I asked how come they had no failsafe measures for things like this happening and how unprofessional this

Terrible customer service ! They were yelling at my wife on the phone ! The can not answer any questions on why our bill is so high.We have a 3 year chart showing our history of usage (not cost) and it is over 100% more for Nov and Dec compared to the previous years !They read the meter wrong and will not resolve that they have over charged us. They will not refund the money !Do not use enbridge they will rip you off !

Haven't received a bill since July. Multiple calls into customer service show no amount owing. Told to keep saving the money up for whenever they get around to generating a bill. Imagine a company this size having billing problems for 6 months.

They are rip off artists. Charging 10 times more than the should.

My old driveway was removed only to expose a corroded gas shut off valve below grade. Placed a call three weeks ago and tech came out to only look at it.He said they would make the repair and left. Haven’t heard back in over two weeks. Called numerous times only to be told they will call me back. They never do. Driveways being paved over in three days. Will they come and repair by then?My guess is they won’t and don’t care.Calling for service doesn’t help!I’ve made one service request in over thirty years and feel like they won’t respond. All they want is your money.Small guy loses again.Thank you Enbridge for making me feel unsafe in my home.

I wish i could give a 0 star. Calling takes forever and get no where. My bill has doubled for the same usage. Absolutely atrocious robbery going on here. You should be ashamed of yourselves

Had a new service installed. Going from oil to gas. Furnace installed on Saturday. Called Monday. Couldn’t get through. Called Tuesday booked appointment for Wednesday. No show. Called Thursday booked for Thursday afternoon. Came installed meter. Didn’t inspect. Called Friday booked for 12-4 no show again. Called back said before 6 no show. Called back they wanted to rebook to Monday. The tech called in sick. No heat for 1 week house went down to 8° overnight 2yr old daughter. This is why there should be a competitive market. Customer service is horrible. I’m so glad I didn’t swap the water heater at the same time or there would’ve been no heat or hot water. Absolutely disgusted by the customer service. The phone operators will tell you anything to get you off the line.
