Modo Yoga Markham

I really enjoyed all the classes I've been to. Each instructor has their own style for their practice and I really like it, keeps everything fresh and new. The place is very clean and organized.

I’ve been only going to Modo chains for the last 10 years and just moved to Markham so I got the intro package. Great and friendly staff, the instructors are amazing as well! Class schedule isn’t the best and the it’s a small space so fills up extremely fast. Might explore other studios before committing

Okay classes. No water fountain. You have to pay for water. Is that legal? Every studio I’ve been to has a water fountain to re-fill our reusable water bottles.Mary Day doesn’t know how to count properly during yoga poses. Not sure if this is a tactic or just like a quirk.Also, can y’all open up your doors earlier than just 15 min? There are common spaces we can chill at rather than the street/parking lot.

Moksha Yoga Markham has gone above and beyond to become and remain as the best yoga studio in Markham. The facility is constantly being cleaned in between the classes. Considering how much sweating goes on, this is particularly important to maintain proper cleanliness. Unlike the typical changeroom, the ones at this studio are spa-like. All this aside, the most important aspects are the staff and the availability of classes. All the teachers are great, and they have a lot of class times. There is even a class at 9:45pm, which accomodates people like me who finish work late. High recommendations for this place!

My friend and I had such a great experience at Moksha Yoga in Markham. It was my friend's first time taking a yoga class and the instructor made her feel super comfortable. Thank you to Kelsey, Denise and Agnes for making us feel so welcome. I will definitely be coming back for another class.

Its Saturday afternoon, I'd love to go to yoga but they aren't open. All week I had 1-3:30pm open ...unfortunately no classes between 2-5pm. Finding it hard to practice, especially with new rules, I'm afraid to preschedule in case I get too busy and cancel late. The summer was absolute chaos and my husband refused to go back after only attending once since one of the locations had renovations and classes were packed. Wont give up.

This is a pretty good facility, with instructors who are knowledgeable and very personable. It's very clean and you can tell the team enjoy working here. They're all so nice and welcoming even when I rushed in 5 mins before class. Because it's a drive away, it's also not that busy, especially when the new years crowd stopped coming. Moksha does a fair job at standardizing as much as they can, however, the culture is noticibly different here with many people talking in class, even to instructors. The room is simply not respected as a space to focus and escape in which is unfortunate. I actually had a guy argue with me after spending about 5 minutes loudly taking to another person AND the instructor. Lynn was the only one who tried to enforce silence in the room, kicking out those with velcro, keys, etc. I will most likely not return here and I'm glad I only invested enough for a Groupon (with Boxing Day promo). My star rating is reflective of the value I got. If I paid full price, I would drop my rating down a star. I would recommend this Moksha only if you live close by and get a reasonable deal like on Groupon.

I go to both the hot yoga class and barre class here, which are suitable for beginners like me. I love how there are so many possible timings for classes so it's not difficult to fit exercise in my busy work week. All the staff here are nice and encouraging, so you really feel welcome right when you enter.

i dont know why this yoga has so much harsh rules to their member，like if you sign up online but you can't attend in it and you forget to cancel it, you need to pay extra 25 dollars to next class if you want to attend it, otherwise you can't join the class any more. and there are a lot of people every time，even there are no way to stench the leg and even can kiss other guys foot who stand in front of you. It is a really terrible studio that I ever attend in. And I will never go to this store.
