I used to go to the location by harbourfront prepandemic. This was my first time going to this location on church. I ordered online and decided to try something new. I am not sure if it is just another restaurant that succumb to poor quality food post pandemic or it is this location specifically. I am sorry to say but it was not good. Could not finish it, tried eating as leftovers and even reheated in a oven because it was roti with curry already inside of it, it was even worse. I ordered one with rice for another person and the rice was such a small portion. I personally won't be going back again. I gave it a two because the third person said their roti wasn't bad, but they have skimped on the protein compared to before. Also, the dish that I got with rice was mutter paneer and they added potatoes, never in my life have I had mutter paneer with potatoes, they were trying to cut cost it seems. I didn't order mutter paneer aloo. I also ordered the food ahead online, which it stated would be ready in 25 minutes, but when I went there I had to still wait an additional 10 to 15 minutes. The staff weren't friendly. It was a tiny space in a basement on church near woodys. The only thing good about the atmosphere was the music/music videos they had playing. I don't usually like to leave not so good reviews, but for the money I'm paying it wasn't worth it and the distance to travel there in hopes of finally getting some good food because I remembered how good the other location was before the pandemic. I think everyone should try for themselves still because it could have been an off day or maybe those dishes I ordered wasn't their signature dishes. Hope this help. Oh for those wanting to dine in...there are a few tables, but again very small space.Edit- responding to owner's comments as requested: I have been going to the location at harbourfront since 2017 until the pandemic occurred and since the pandemic went there I think in 2021 to get the mango rasmali only. However, I have never gotten potatoes in my roti there. This is my first time at the Church location and if you are stating potatoes are standard practice moving forward, well it is noted. As for telling you when, I don't feel comfortable disclosing that as I don't want to be the reason someone can potentially lose their position. Usually one indicent such as this is not really grounds for firing in my opinion but a coaching opportunity. Usually you coach them, give them three chances and then let them go unless if there is a more serious incident than one such as this then firing may be more justifiable. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and perception etc is subjective. So, I still encourage people to try your location as they may have a different experience and opinion than mine and I encourage you to continue to always strive to improve. All the best.

I love the food here! You get a really good amount of food for a great price, the service is always quick, and the spice level is excellent.

The roti was wrapped in curry which was half cooked. I could smell and taste the garam masala separately. Not for authentic indian experience.

We ordered the Samosa Chaat and it turned out to be very bland. The samosa was soggy, and definitely not fresh. They just give you very little toppings and sauces. The filling was dry, and gave a very bad taste. Based on the reviews, I expected the taste to be better but it spoiled our taste. Not sure if the other dishes are the same in taste. The service was slow based on the quality of the food and rush.Response to the owner: We visited the store on April 24 at around 6:30pm. I have no interest in writing big fake reviews for anyone.

Small place in the basement of a building. Man who took our order was nice enough but there was no atmosphere. Most customers seemed to be getting take out. . Only 10 or 12 seats with no washroom facilities. Food was ok but nothing special.

Best place for Indian food. Staff is very helpful and good and it makes one of the best Butter Chicken's I've ever tasted. If you like Spicy Indian food, this is definitely a place you want to visit.
