The best burger on earth. I was also recommend the hot sub, and it was good but nothing to write home about. The burger is the star of the show here. Also, share the fries with someone. You won't finish a burger and fries. One star for atmosphere though, it's a drive in and I was in a dirty work van that badly needed cleaned. That's my fault though.

Not worth it. Waited over 40 minutes for simple burgers while people who came through after us were served before us.Certainly telling everyone about this place; AVOID IT!Tip for this business, the only color that should matter is green.

The West Pier Drive-In Sault St. Marie, Michigan, has the best hamburgers in Michigan. All their burgers are 1/2lb and only one size fry. Under the International Bridge, it's a unique place to eat and worth the stop if you are in the Soo. Bring CASH; they don't take cards! I had a Mushroom Swiss, it was delicious!!!!

Best burgers anywhere! Great shakes and malts too. It’s a drive in and they are super busy because they’re really good. Extremely fast service with servers literally running back and forth when they aren’t carrying food. And they’re always friendly!! You’re right by the locks so you might get lucky and be able to watch a ship come by while you’re eating; I get my food to go and snack as I drive to a nearby park to sit and enjoy my meal. The worst parts of the West Pier dining experience is (1) forcing myself to slow down so I can enjoy the meal for a little bit longer, (2) being so full and satisfied that I’m unable to be at all productive for longer than lunch hour or dinner time. I wish they were open for breakfast! There’s ample parking and the servers come you to get your order and deliver the grub. Cash only!!
