Nicola Valley Aquatic Centre

Visiting town for the weekend and I decided to use their gym here. It's fantastic! I had originally gone to another fitness place in town that charged $12 for a drop in but on the second day tried this place and it was only $3 to use the gym! It's definitely a bit small but for the price it's great. Lots of weight machines and a decent selection of free weights. Several pieces of cardio equipment to chose from as well.

A great swimming pool considering its size. It's not the largest but the receptionists are nice as are the lifeguards. This one has a large pool for laps and such and a recreation pool. It's also got two hot tubs a sauna and a kid pool. There's also a gym, once again not the biggest but the equipment is very well maintained.

What a great pool! It's small but well appointed and well kept. It's nice and warm, change rooms are clean and plenty of lockers. The receptionists are always so friendly and welcoming

This place used to be great. Now the staff do not recognize or address conflict that could cause safety concerns.If you say anything to the kids yourself, you're verbally accosted and threatened by their equally feral parents.The staffs response to metell us" "We didnt see it" from 3 different employees.I refuse to believe that. It's your job to observe the pool. The rough housing was going on for over 15 minutes

Visited here while we were camping for a week in Merritt. Well maintained, nice staff, good prices. It was completely empty when we were there in the summer. It was nice and relaxing in the hot tub, sauna and pool. I'm looking forward to going back this summer.They wouldn't let us use the gym as we didn't have a separate pair of sneakers that had never been used outdoors. I brought my sneakers in a gym bag and they were clean but they weren't brand new having never been used once outdoors" which is their policy."

They have very friendly staff. Everything was clean but it’s an old building and one of the hot tubs wasn’t working. It was very busy for a Monday at 2:00pm. Everyone was having fun!

My toddlers and I come here every chance we get when we’re in town visiting from Toronto. I appreciate that the change rooms are a decent temperature and not freezing cold like most public pools. Our favourite features are the lazy river and the little pool for the younger kiddos. I find this place offers a lot compared to other pools I have been to and charges less. I look forward to coming here next!

The hours make it impossible to enjoy the pool. With the hours posted thought we'd come in for a Sunday soak, turns out they are actually closed on Sundays now.Would love to go for an evening soak or even enjoy a Sunday.

This is a perfectly adequate pool. There are much better options, and to be honest, unless locality really means that much to you, you're better off just going to the Canada Games Centre 45 minutes away. The review would actually be 4 stars, but the lack of anything entertaining since COVID-19 regulations were put into place brought it down a lot. The slide, hot tub, and diving board, all mediocre already, have been removed, the main pool has been divided into rows, making it impossible to enjoy unless you are coming to do laps. If you have kids, I recommend bringing your own toys as well, as the pool toys generally provided for the young ones are also unavailable.

Great pool for all ages. Usually busy but never too crowded. Staff is all very friendly and the weight room has a good selection of equipment and floor space. Great price for what the facility offers
