My husband and I went for the first time today. The staff were nice and friendly. I had the affagato and my husband had the chocolate salted caramel milkshake. Both were delicious!

Update:Same issue, PLUS portion reduced by half.3 months ago:My #1 go to place for ice cream and chocolate. Premium quality chocolate, many selections and flavours. Only issue is the waffle! It is always under cooked and not fluffy. It is totally different than the Cole harbour location. Please fix this!. It is why not giving a five stars.Constructive note to the owner:i would like to see a more trained staff, more professional, and be more friendly.A better cone for the ice creamFresh fruits for fondue and waffles instead if the frozen.And again, a fluffy waffle!Overall, i love Leonidas :)

We went to Leonidas with our friends for them to experience the delicious icecreams. We ordered our icecream and later realized the staff heard us wrong by thinking we wanted strawberry cheesecake. Tarun behaved so badly with us arguing nonstop that we ordered wrong even though he is not the person who took the order. It was humiliating for all 7 of us to hear him. He would not stop arguing and said will cancel all of our orders. Tarun even said he does not care if we put a review in google and gave us his name. He called us a liar. The owner of this store needs to hire more trained and friendly people. It can be tiring to take orders all day and it can happen the staff misheard us. But the way tarun behaved it is unacceptable!!! He needs to be fired as soon as possible because he just gave us and the people standing in the store a horrible experience. Extremely upsetting and I do not believe we will ever go back in here!

Really nice spot to stop for a quick treat!! Plus they have a raspberry sorbet that is vegan for those who can't have lactose. My husband is lactose intolerant and loves ice cream and was very glad they had this option!

Quality chocolate but very pricy. About $2/piece. Had their raspberry sorbet dipped in chocolate. It’s different from DQ’s dipped cones. The hardened chocolate doesn’t crunch and break like DQ’s.

All 4 of us had a soft cone dipped in either chocolate or salted caramel. Oh my word - was it delicious! The service was great, we watched a gal make 3 crepes for another customer - they were huge, she answered our questions and gave us commentary on others goodies theh sold and what the ingredients were. They followed up on how our ice cream was - the whole thing was quite lovely.

Delicious milkshake with just the right amount of sweetness in each sip. Lots of appetizing choices on the menu (i.e., chocolates, drinks, ice cream, banana split, affogato, milkshake, etc) and everything is relatively affordable. Although it was near closing time on a Friday night at the store, there were a lot of customers coming in. The staff were nice to let us finish our drinks/ice cream as they were closing up. Would definitely come back to try their other menu items.The one complaint I have is that despite there only being a group of customers when we entered, the only other table available wasn’t cleaned and had some ripped paper from the previous customer(s) which made it less appealing to sit in store and enjoy our treats.At this current time (beginning of May 2022), there is a lot of construction from Spring Garden to the location and part of the sidewalk wasn’t available, so be aware for those with mobility issues and children/pets. Also, there is limited seating available (two tables and 4 high chair all squished together at the entrance of the store). There is a service elevator for those with mobility issues to use near the entrance.

the food here is absolutely delicious! it is so nice to have lactose free/vegan options for delicious desserts. the sorbet is so so good. the texture is amazing and the flavour is very nice. the chocolate is also some of the best chocolate i have ever have. i got the raspberry dark chocolate and it was so rich but not overly sweet. the prices are also super reasonable, and the staff were super sweet. i will definitely be coming back here!
