Canim Falls
WOW! A truly beautiful set of waterfalls! Not a hike but a very short walk literally only minutes long on a well maintained path. And the falls are a thing of beauty. It was a bright and sunny day when I visited which just made them even more breathtaking

Beautiful. Nice walk through to the falls. Quite a few trees have fallen through the path.

About a kilometre hike to the main falls. You can walk right next to them on the top side.

If you love 1 km hikes and seeing maybe 4 other people on the trail, this one is for you.

A bit off the beaten path, but well worth the effort. The roads are not well marked to indicate where it is, but if you have your GPS cached it is easy to find. There is a clean outhouse toilet at the trail head, with walks to both Mahood and Canim Falls. The trail is well maintained and the bluffs are fenced off for safety. I went in early July and the falls we're strong. Great photos and a nice walk in nature.

Canim Falls is always a great place to visit. It's a short 1km hike in and the terrain is relatively flat. You can get very close to the falls as there is a trail past protection fencing. But be careful if you have kids or dogs. There are pit toilets at the trail head in case you have to go.

Canim Falls makes a great afternoon outing if staying in and around the 100 Mile House Area. The trip can be done in a car, despite a short section of gravel road. You can also do a loop trip back to 100 Mile House via Deka Lake. Best time to see the falls is probably during run off in late May to early/mid June. Camping at Mahood Lake makes for a great extended trip.

Nice drive on a logging road. Short hike to a beautiful waterfall. Hike is maybe 20 minutes. Kept my little on in a carrier (stoller is not good here) lots of spots kids could walk of cliff. Safer for older kids walking.

Short, easy hike in a beautiful area. Many interesting rock formations as well as the river and falls.
