I highly recommend Brad for filing your taxes. The process has been smooth every time and he's very attentive to answer any questions or doubts that you may have.I'll definitely be back next year. Thank you to the front desk team as well, they were great!

Used H&R block to complete my taxes this year and had such an amazing experience! Brad couldn’t have been more helpful and the receptionist was wonderful. Such a lovely environment to walk into with upbeat and happy employees.

I have had the absoltute worse experience with this H&R Block this year. I have filed taxes before at different locations and never experienced such low and rude service. I opted for the online option to submit documents electronically and have phone meetings as needed. My accountant, Judy, was no help at all. I had a question about a specific part of my taxes and set up a phone appointment. When the time came, she called me to confirm how many T4s I had and then asked for my credit card information to pay her fee. I told her I didn't usually pay until the taxes were finished and thought this was odd and she said that is just how they do it here. She did not answer my question, saying we would finish all that later as the taxes were not close to being completed.Immediately after that call, I got an email with my completed taxes where I owed an amount higher than expected. I sent emails and called back to ask what the cause was, and it took weeks for her to get back. Every time I called, I was met with rude attitude from other employees. I have always had my H&R Block accountants walk through this with me but Judy only seemed intent on collecting my payment with as little service as possible.When she did get back to me, she said she had been on sick leave for a couple weeks - but didn't have an automatic email reply or anyone to help with questions when she was gone which is odd. During our call, (which lasted less than 5 minutes) she kept saying she had other clients and couldn't help and then HUNG UP on me when I was in the middle of a sentence. What an extreme waste of my time and money. Absolutely horrible experience. I am a reasonable person and have always worked in the service industry myself and this level of service was unacceptable.

This is a complaint against your employee, Faida Bakar - DENMAN LOCATION - VANCOUVER, BCI contacted this brand location and came to an appointment in May to get assistance with my taxes as a self-employed person. I set an appointment with Faida who was 30 minutes late to our appointment. I sat with her for over an hour explaining my issue and she could not help due to a system failure at her branch. She told me to reschedule another time to come in as she couldn't help me that day.I had to cancel our next appointment as I went on vacation and had followed up with her a few weeks later to confirm a time to come in. Unfortunately, I had an accident where I fractured my ankle and tested positive for covid within the same week and had to cancel all in person appointments until further notice.I have sent two different emails to Faida explaining my situation that I could not come in person due to my disability and my covid diagnosis. I also am 5.5 months pregnant.Finally, she called me to explain next steps and was extremely unhelpful. I stressed that I was unable to understand her findings and needed further clarification to have an online appointment to be able to see her screen and understand my fillings so I could continue to file my taxes to the Government. Faida said she would not accommodate my ask to have an online appointment, she had no one in her office who would help either. She was unwilling to help find a solution for me while I am sick and disabled. As I continued to plead and try and find a solution to help myself, as I currently am on crutches and can only get around with a wheelchair, she proceeded to say she had other customers waiting and it's my fault that my appointments had to be cancelled in person.She was dehumanizing, rude and incredibly insensitive to my situation. It was extremely unprofessional, discriminating and unaccommodating to help a current disable and sick person.

I've used this branch run by Brad Nowlin (I belive) for only two years and am very pleased with the results. Most particularly Brad getting my moving expenses from over $2000.0 to zero! He puts humour and energy into his work for his clients. I recommend he and his office for any of your tax needs.

Just had a great experience filing my taxes. I had a complex filing as I had to file after selling my condo last year. The primary residence filing was tricky and I was happy to have Brad, a well experienced tax professional, guide me through it! He was very knowledgeable and made sure that i got a good tax refund. My experience in this branch was excellent. I was a walking client over there and brach is very busy with the clients but the front desk associate Javier was really nice to me and attend me very well and I have to wait for just 10 minutes to get my taxes done. Associate, Mr. Tushar filed my taxes, I am facing problem to file my taxes but he found a solution and filed it excellently. Thank you for your wonderful experience.Really appreciate that.
