McDermott, Dr. Peter

A couple months ago I saw Dr. James Tonogai at Dr.McDermott & Associates. I can honestly say, he was not very professional. He asked me a lot of irrelevant questions and charged me a ridiculous amount for the consult. He didn't even have all my medical information/results of CT scan and he started saying the chances of him being able to do a successful crown for me were very slim. He started throwing statistics out that were very disheartening. A week later by telephone, he said he could do it, but that he would have to bind my tooth to the teeth on either side. I had no confidence in him and opted to see someone else for another opinion. I was since referred to Dr. Ruta Stanaitis and she has been amazing. I currently have a temporary tooth and she will be completing my crown which is on order. I have visited her 3x and her professionalism is second to none. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Tonogai for any procedures that are not straight forward. I have heard he does good bridgework but he doesn't seem very experienced and only graduated from his specialty in 2021. I wish someone had of given me the heads up before I wasted my money, so that is why I have written this review.
