KCs Plumbing, Heating & Drain Services

I purchased a new home and the furnance system was built by them. They put an 16inch fliter into my 12inch slot. they just wrapped and squeez it in. the furnance has been running like that for months until I find the problem. The guy refuse to come and make a complete check for my sytem.the picture shows the wrong filter they put in.

We have used KC for a variety of services over the past few years. Recently we had a very tricky water leak. KC did some initial work to aid in diagnosis. Once they were able to identify to source of the water, they carefully assessed the situation for the best solution. After some creative thinking, they completed the repair in a way that saved us several thousand dollars. Needless to say we are very happy!!Thanks to Ryan, Michael, Nick, Karam, the office staff and especially Craig for your guidance, support, excellent work habits and sense of humor through this lengthy process. I have being using KC's Plumbing for the past 15 years and there is no one I trust more for my plumbing and Heating than KCs. In the past, KC's have been to my house for a water leak, gas pipe install, toilet repair and install and all of which I've never had a problem or had them come back again! they were all fixed right the first time. I recently had my first experience of a major repair when my service line burst on me! a very stressful situation for me and my family. They helped me through the whole process. When it was all complete they did a fabulous job and I want to say a special thank you to Katrina, Jack, Predrag, Keith, Kyle and Craig for your professionalism and craftsmanship. Recommended by my friend. My unit had serious flooding in December ( hot water tank pipe burst) and affected my neighboring units. To prevent this happen again, I requested a house inspection service from KC’s in January.Henk came, very professional and knowledgeable, his work is thorough, patiently answering my questions, making sure all my concerns have been taken care of, even giving us some maintenance tips.Before KC’s Plumbing, I had a plumber (plumbing company referred by strata) come two weeks ago because the restoration team in my unit suspected dripping from water valve, he spent less than 5 minutes in my unit, said there was no leaking then left but the payment was twice than KC’s. To be fair, the strata referred plumber did mention there is a minimum two hours charge, but after comparing to KC’s service and price, I don't think I can ever use other plumbing company other than KC’s.Therefore, after all the experiences I have with different plumbing companies , I would highly recommend Henk and KC’s plumbing.

I called KC Plumbing sometime between January 12th and 19th with several problems. I have used KC for many years including some major work and while Corey was there we had excellent service. I mentioned this to the person I spoke to but also said the service had not been as good the last time we had work done. I described in detail what needed to be done and sent photographs so the parts could be brought and the work done. When the serviceman arrived we were surprized that no-one had told him what was to be done and that he was only there to take a look and not do the work. As the tenant, who was with me throughout the encounter, was unable to shower or bathe and we had a very problematic toilet downstairs that was not working, this was disappointing but nevertheless we found him pleasant and helpful. He called back to say he had ordered the parts and he would be back as soon as he had the parts. He said he ordered the toilet and it would take a week to arrive.. An appointment was made for January 20th and we were given a range of time in the morning. I called back twice during the day and was told that our original plumber was unavailable but someone else would be coming. I was told twice they were going to be there during the day. I waited all day and finally I was called back and told they would send someone over that evening and that it would be at the overtime rate. I naturally objected to this and said it was not reasonable to charge me overtime as I had waited in all day for them to arrive as promised. She was insistent I had to pay overtime rates which I said I as not prepared to do.The young man arrived and was very pleasant. I was grateful for his time and even took him tea and cake as I am sure he will attest.Later I called Jack, your owner, and told him I was unhappy with the tone of the conversation I had had with the office person who kept insisting I would have to pay overtime. I also talked to him about the macerator pump that was ordered. Jack said he was not a fan of those type of toilets and although it might be in the range of $6,000 we might be better getting a regular toilet and connecting it. I was willing to do this and he promised to come by himself the next week to look at the work and provide an estimate.called again a month after being promised I would receive a call back. I told the young lady that we still after over two months dod niot have a working toilet which was supposed to be fixed the last week of January. I said I was upset that nobody returned my calls as promised and that no-one was tgere other than the junior person for me to speak to. I told her i would give KC’s one more chance and after that I would go elsewhere if i did not here back. That call, of which I have a record was at 10.29am and lasted 3 minutes.6 days after I was assured someone from management would call me I was emailed that because of interactions with staff you were refusing the work . Although frustrated, at no time did I raise my voice, swear or say anything unreasonable in spite of the fact we have been without a toilet downstairs for over two months. By the time theiremail came I was already in touch with another plumber.

Had K.C’s Pluming install (3) toilet bidets as well as installed a Garbuator in the kitchen. Pete was very thorough and professional and kept his work area clean at all times! At the end he went through a overview of what was completed. Definitely would recommend K.C’s Plumbing and would not hesitate to call on them again.

KC Plumbing installed a garburator for me in November, 2020. It was not installed properly: the installer had to return a few days later to remover the dishwasher drain plug which he had forgotten to remove. Furthermore, I recently discovered a slow leak from the garburator and asked KC Plumbing to investigate. The technician who attened, Michael, noted that a one of the three main bolts that secure the device was not installed. He rectified this and the issue was resolved. He noted in writing that the problem was due to IMPROPER INSTALLATION (by KC Plumbing). NOW, KC Plumbing has sent a bill for $186.00 to fix THEIR MISTAKE! I have launched a complaint with the Better Business Bureau after getting an unsatisfactory response from KC. Wish me luck! Don't engage this company.ADDENDUM October 24, 2022KC Plumbing has decided, after my complaint to the Better Business Bureau, to not charge to correct THEIR MISTAKE. However, they have made some false accusations regarding my telephone manner which I have corrected with the following response to the BBB:KC Plumbing had at least three opportunities to prevent my complaint to the BBB but they chose to let things escalate: 1) When I requested the follow-up service to correct their defective installation, I specified that there was a problem with the original installation. The KC Plumbing representative on the phone immediately said that the date of original service meant that warranty" service was not an option. Really? 2) When reviewing the report from the technician who corrected the problem

We recommend KCs Plumbing!Our tankless water heater blew yesterday, and we were not able to get it started. Then smoke started coming out of it and water was dripping from the pipe. We called KCs Plumbing and received great service from start to finish as usual (we have used them before). Rhonda who answered our call was very helpful, she said she would contact the supervisor and have him call us. Hank called us back and was able to come within 30-45 minutes. He was courteous and professional. He was able to fix the problem within a short period of time and will be back again next week to do a full cleaning. Thank you, Rhonda and Hank!

Another company had unintentionally made a mistake on my parent's toilet. The bolts were not properly secured and the toilet became loose. After checking with a second local company, they actually recommended KC's for the job. Jamie was very professional. He explained the fix and the work was perfect. Kudos.

Predrag came and installed our faucet for us and I’m so impressed with the communication, professionalism and quality of service with this business. Not only was his work meticulous, everything checked and double checked, Pedrag was friendly, personable and just comes across as a genuine, trustworthy guy. I’ve already recommended this company to friends since having work done, and will definitely be calling them for any future services needed.
