Ink & Water Tattoo

Great place. Very clean and inviting. Monica is the best and has designed my entire sleeve! Ry did a huge piece on my shoulder that is amazing! Would highly recommend both artists!!!!!

This place is the best!! Sasha was really caring and sweet. My skin flares up really easily and she'd check up on how I was doing and was overall really accomodating. I'm super happy with my tattoo. Not to mention the aesthetic of this place is so damn nice.

The shop's by the back of the plaza.Great artists and staff!! Really cool vibes right when you walk in, and their front desk area also doubles as a convenience store.

Got a tattoo with Hayden. He did a nice job, but the tattoo ended up fading into something extremely light where you could barely see it. I went back in for a touch up and told him that I’d like for it to be darkened, to match the other tattoos on my arm. He said it won’t be that dark because the reference photo he used was lighter. I don’t understand what that has to do with anything? We’re talking about black/grey ink. In addition, when it came to making changes to the sketch on the day of, he completely dismissed all my proposals. This is an example of someone who does tattoos but is not an artist. If you can’t deviate from a picture/stencil and are essentially going to mirror exactly what you see on your iPad, you should tell your clients that up front. Now I’m going to have to spend hundreds more to darken it when I shouldn’t have to.

Mikayla (the wonderful studio manager) was extremely helpful in finding an artist that fit my needs in the best possible way. From start to finish she listened to my needs and was thorough, thoughtful, and extremely considerate when helping me pin-point an artist that would tattoo in the style I wanted.I’ve reached out to a lot of shops and the only reason I ended up selecting ink and water is all due to Mikayla and her work ethic. Having a studio manager as comprehensive and helpful as Mikayla is extremely beneficial in a business because she provides professional, yet personal services, to each individual that comes in and makes sure they’re comfortable.Good on you ink and water for hiring such incredible staff!Definitely be back again. I had an appointment with Rye yesterday to get a 6 inch tattoo for $2000. Didn’t mind the steep price as his work is amazing. However, getting a tattoo from him was a very negative experience. I was met with a lot of hostility as I requested an adjustment to be made on the tattoo. He stated that making the adjustment wasn’t his vision for the tattoo (regardless of it being on my body). My concerns were dismissed as he started cleaning his station and said that if any changes are going to be made he wouldn’t post the work he did on his IG page. Apparently he was more concerned with what he posts on IG instead of listening to the client in front of him. After pleading and apologizing profusely that I understood making the adjustment that I requested was not his vision, he did the bare minimum to appease me. Rye apologize for his behaviour as I was leaving. However, by that time it was too late as the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. In the end I walked out with a tattoo I’m not completely happy with.

Sasha did a cover up and it’s stunning!!!! It’s a tattoo of my best friend’s favourite flowers over my shoulder. The detail and colours are amazing. I get compliments all the time. The shop is large and clean and so friendly. Hands down a great place and great experience.

Everyone at the Mississauga location is so nice! Mikayla is so welcoming and the space/atmosphere is so cool. Sasha is an AMAZING artist and I love her work. I’ve gotten a few pieces by here and will keep coming back.
