This was the first time I used Calgary Home Watch & Concierge Inc. Picking someone to trust your home to can be very stressful. Melanie and her team were exceptional, from start to finish. The reports I received from each home visit was beyond amazing, and thorough. I am so thankful I found this company. In 2018, we moved to the US temporarily for work. It was quite stressful with lots of things to take care. Finding Calgary Home Watch was a blessing! Melanie, the owner, is very professional, organized and always responds quickly. Yannick did a great job checking our house every 3 days, cutting the lawn/shovelling snow, and other odd jobs that we needed done. We recently decided to sell our property and Melanie and team were able to meet people such as the realtor and carpet installers and let them into our house, complete many of the renovations themselves, deep clean, and move any remaining items in our home to another location. It has been so comforting knowing that we could rely on them to take care of our house while we away.I would highly recommend this business if you are looking for one place to look after your property while being away!

Three years ago we needed someone to look after my Uncles home in Calgary while he transitioned from hospital to retirement home.Calgary Home watch was recommended by a neighbor of my Uncles as a reputable and trustworthy company based on the experience they had dealing with them. We live in Ontario so we needed someone we could trust with watching the house on a scheduled basis as well as trusting a company with the contents of the house as we were not in Calgary. Melanie ,Yannick and their team exceeded my expectations. Their services encompassed weekly checks with emailed reports, home maintenance, yard maintenance, setting up meetings/visits with contractors as required, assisting with cleaning out the contents and distributing contents to charities ,etc., prepping the house to be ready to list such as painting and house cleaning, running documents to lawyers , etc., etc. They looked after anything I required.I highly recommend Melanie and her team as they go above and beyond with their service and personal attention.

As a long term client of Calgary Home Watch, I have always had the best experience with their people and the service they provide. Not only are they trustworthy, thorough and reliable but they have handled emergency situations (flooding, repairs etc.) while we were out of country in a timely and professional manner. I have recommended them to many family and friends and will not hesitate to continue to do so. If it's professional and competent people you are looking for, this is the right company to use.

Melanie runs a very organized homewatch service company and provides good communication. Her employees provide customized homewatch services with detailed reports and photos emailed to you, to alleviate your worries so you can enjoy your vacation. They also provide extra services like lawn mowing, shoveling snow if needed. Highly recommend!!

I wish I could give zero stars for this company. Melanie, I see on here has such awesome reviews, but if you have issues with her service.....look out, you will soon see the unprofessional side of her. We hired her company to paint our home, it was a 3 day job that ended up taking almost 4 weeks, and still wasn't finished at that time. They had many many many redos, in the end we just had enough and stopped it, as it was just becoming more redos. Melanie lied about her team, they were infact contracted to come in, they were not part of her team like she lead us to believe. They were not supervised by her teamleader, they were left in our home and were not professional at all. Melanie could not accept the disaster that happened by her so call team. We gave them almost 4 weeks to fix it and it just seemed to get worse. So when we finally said enough, she showed her very unprofessional side. We had no problem paying, but we were not going to pay full price. This is where she continually harassed us with emails, and eventually she put a lien on our home. This was not because we wouldn't pay, because we had made a very fair offer, but she just wouldn't accept the unprofessional paint job, and that it was because she hired contractors that were not good at their work and also not supervised by her teamleader. So this all really fell on her shoulders, because its her company. We made an offer, a fair one and she actually came back with a less offer. So of course we went with that one, but there was always something, and her thing was always that we didn't want to pay! Melanie just dragged it on, continually harassing us with email after email. Do not be fooled, and make sure her staff are her staff and not contractors. We eventually settled, with the offer she countered with. Melanie agreed that she would take the lien off of our home, we haven't received notification that the lien was removed. I still have all the photos of the unprofessional work, the harassing emails from her, and the text messages from her.Response To Melanie's Response;1) It was drawn out, because Melanie wouldn't accept our offer. Melanie counter offered which was less than our offer, but it came with conditions. Melanie wanted us to sign a non disclosure. The reason she wanted a non disclosure signed was so we couldn't review her! We wouldn't agree to the signing of a non disclosure. So then what Melanie did was she went back to the original quote, that she quoted us before the job started. So that's how it went and dragged on, she's not being very honest, even with her response!2) The lien on our home, which to my knowledge has not been removed. Melanie was supposed to take care of that when she received the payment.3) Telling us that it was her company that was painting, when infact it was contracted out. We hired Melanie's company to do the work. These individuals were not supervised. Melanie lied. I actually found out a lot from this review page because it appears the contractors have not been paid, and we're threatening court action?3) I'd be more than happy to post the last email communication from Melanie, or the photos of the work, that to this day we are still finding things that are wrong. Hard to believe but that is the truth.4) Not going to get into the petty stuff that Melanie has brought to the table so to speak in her response. The bottom line is be careful what you hire this company for because Melanie was not honest about her team, and if you are not happy with the services, it becomes a nightmare. This could have been resolved much faster, but it was Melanie that dragged it out for so long.

As a professional that travels often, I was very pleased to begin working with Melanie and Calgary Home Watch after conducting extensive online research. The positive reviews you will find from many clients online and bbb etc are absolutely true. Biggest benefits for me are: a convenient initial process for assessment of needs, very professional staff, provides visit updates by email and even photos, and absolutely reliable. I have also engaged with bi-monthly cleaning service could not be happier. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we required a home watch service for our place while we were out of the country. We looked around for a reliable company that would be able to help us manage and keep our place secure, and to be honest, we were initially a bit wary of handing over the management of our house to (essentially) a team of strangers.It's been two years since we started using Calgary Home Watch, and I have to say that the way Melanie, Yannick, and the team have conducted themselves has gone a long way in assuaging our initial fears. Time and again, they have gone above and beyond what we've engaged them for - they have truly given us peace of mind and are professional, responsible, reliable, and timely in their services. We receive regular reports, alerts on potential issues, trustworthy advice on what needs (or doesn't need) to be replaced/repaired, and suggestions on any maintenance/upkeep questions that we might have.
