no options to try on the clothes. One staff said I could use the bathroom to which I was promptly denied by another staff member who seemed to be a manager. Beyond that the selection was ample so as long as you are OK with trying on at home then attempting to return the items you should be good to go.

self check out attendant asked to review all of our items with an accusatory tone after we clearly picked up and scanned the 4 items. other customers were not treated in the same manner - we were most likely targeted for being young. more staff should be hired to watch the self check outs to ensure all purchases can be monitored properly to avoid accusation in this manner

Horrible experience. The cashier's stood over top of me and then took everything out of my bag that I had scanned and began rescanning. I was humiliated and after telling her that I had scanned what was in the bag she told me she had to make sure. I looked at her and everyone around her appeared to be looking at me so I told her to scan away and walked out.Nobody has to be humiliated because they want to make sure ppl are scanning there items. If they don't trust there customers they should be scanning themselves. Plus for the amount of items that I donate a month this behavior that was demonstrated was humiliating and uncalled for. Again if they need two ppl to watch what customers are scanning and then rescan there bags they should not have self check outs.

I can't believe how expensive this Value Village is in Barrie. Crazy they get free stuff donated to price them as if they paid a pretty penny for them. BRING YOUR PRICES DOWN! I will never pay for broken and cracked 12 pack teacandles for $5.00 dollars.. The dollar tree has them priced for only $1:50. Also, their used used stinking cauch pillows $7.99... WHAT?? THIS IS CRAZY... who is pricing these Items. I do not recommend anyone shopping at this Value Village. I am from Toronto and everything is almost half of the price. Manager needs to look into making Value Village affordable again.

DIRTY - this location leaves all their clothes on the floor, doesn't organize or clean up and when you bring something to the cash like this they don't help you.Manisha the supervisor was very difficult and refused to even discuss the matter - she pointed to the store and the floor and how everything was on the floor and I said that's not right is it?This is pathetic - this is a donation store not a designer resaler store - how dare you use charity to line your own pockets without consideration?!Value village has really changed.Avoid this one to save money, time and stress

Pretty good thrift store. They take everything and anything from you and resell it. Very similar to Goodwill. They also take lots of junk like old appliances which isn’t the best thing. They had a good collection of books, which actually surprised me.

Self checkout system is not very efficient. Only 4 stations and 2 customers had issues. The cashiers weren't available/only one was available when the store was busy. Some of the items in the store were really dirty. It's unfortunate we cannot test if the electronics still work or not.Reasonable prices.

Like other value villages very well organized. Love a place like this that accepts donations and can resell for a more than fair price. Sometimes you will find a real Jeff something that you might find online for a lot of money but you come here and might find it lightly used in very good condition for like 90% less. I found an Echo Show 5 2nd gen for $10 and it works and looking 100% perfect. I had a different location I was looking for a truck body for one of my radio control trucks they were around $300 on eBay. Found the absolute exact body I was looking for total luck but it was only $12. .. why four stars instead of five? Because of the smell. I'm sorry I know it's probably necessary because of all the clothes and the sanitizing or whatever but my goodness that smell
