Dr. Dalia El-Ashry Medicine Professional Corporation

The secretary is rude and cold. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. They call to make a follow up appointment for June 30 but have not meet with him in person. My mom called and would not take that appointment and they provided a closer date. Again the secretary is rude and cold and says it's not her fault. My father was in the hospital and has since passed and they still call. We have asked that remove our number from their files. Please find another doctor that will show they care. My father felt like they just did not care if he lived or died.

Difficult to get the help you need. Only taking phone appointments that are missed or very late and dismissive of questions. My pharmacists continually struggled to get prescriptions refilled and key financial paperwork was never filled out. After a year and a half, lack of care and poor experiences take a toll.

My dad had a rare liver disease PSC. As the disease progressed he suffered more end stage symptoms like fluid retention in stomach and rectum bleeding. My dad went to Dr Dalia each time and she should have know his disease was near the end stage and should have advised the liver transplant team or let us know to keep us updated. We had no idea how seriously progressed he was since we are not the doctors. It’s very hard getting appointments and there is definitely a lack of communication. I think Dr. Dalia needs to reduce the number of patients so she can be more one on one of our each patient and communicate properly. My dad is no more but I hope all of you are proactive and constantly question each symptom.

I have seen many physicians over the years and have never been moved to write a review before. Dr. ElAshry is one of the top three doctors I have ever met. She is exactly the kind of doctor that people want and seldom finds. Her credentials are impeccable, and her patient care is Outstanding.Dr. ElAshry is personable, warm and genuinely interested in each person and their concerns, and even when the news isn't good, she can make you laugh. She spends time with each of her patients, researches each one before the exam and discusses everything with you in an easy, clear and relaxed manner. I met with several medical professionals before selecting her, and each said nothing but great things about her.

If I could give 0 stars I would! I waited 6 months for this appointment and when today came i left work early, drove all the way to the medical centre, parked my car and paid for parking only to find out that they sent out an email (NOT PHONE CALL) last minute that they switched the meeting over zoom!!! I made peace with that, and opened the zoom call...and the person who was on the other end said she was not the specialist and she was filling in for her....need i say more? I waited 6 months to see a specialist to help me and in the end i didnt see her and I got the same response that my family physician gave me!!! Why am i waiting this long? Whats the point and when will Canadian healthcare professionals respect their patients and actually give them the time of day and TRY to treat them?!!!!! DISAPPOINTED.

Dr Dalia is a good doctor but it is very hard for her patient to see her. She needs to pay attention to details her patient gives her. When her patient asks to talk to her she ignores to call back, maybe due to high number of patients she's responsible for. One can die while waiting for her.

I've had 3 so called phone appointments with this clinic where someone calls asks me questions and writes stuff down. I was recommended to a specialist and I have yet to speak to the specialist in this office. They also refuse to see anyone in person even though all other doctors are seeing people in person now. Using the pandemic as an excuse not to see people. I asked where the doctor was and apparently she's at the hospital working. I dont know why they wouldn't just reschedule me if the doctor isn't even available during my appointment time.

Very unprofessional and careless business they are doing. Had a phone appointment booked but nobody called me at the time of appointment. I called back at the appointment time but no response and there is nothing available so I can leave a message. A doctor referred me to this specialist but seriously no call on a booking time from the doctor. If Dr. el ashry reading this message please have some sense of responsibility and call the patient back on their appointment time.

Dr El-Ashry is the first one , in my case, who had right approach that gives good results.I was “”treated “” by other Dr for 10 years,had numerous tests and invasive procedures , many unnecessary and too often and with no results.Before I met Dr El-Ashry in person I thought that it will be just another Dr but she proved me wrong. I wish that I met her 10 years ago!She is very good, professional, punctual with unique skills and approach and after just two appointments I feel so much better like I never did before.Im grateful that I met her and would highly recommend her.

Waited 6 months for my appointment. Was reached out to 2 days before my appointment asking for my email to send me a zoom link for the appointment. No zoom link sent. Day of the appointment comes and I’m told we can’t continue and will need to reschedule. Waiting since March 3rd for my new appointment that’s needed due to failure to receive an emailed zoom link. No response, no update , nothing. Called in today and now will have to wait for scheduler to reach out to me , again.
