Richmond Hill Kettle Lakes YMCA Child Care Centre

My son is attending to kettle lakes child care. He is 3 years old. He was almost frozen in snowy -7 c. According to care taker they keep them outside up to -15c for two hours( one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon ). I understand that kids needs fresh air; however, I think is the care taker judgment to decide to take them inside before they freeze. My child was neglected. Also, care takers behaviour with kids are not friendly at all. Over all they just baby sitting kids, I’m not really happy with the service.

Kettle Lakes YMCA is an amazing place! Very clean with great staff and very welcoming. My son has been attending this child care since he was 2 and half. He is now 7 and loves coming. I can not express enough how amazing the staff are, they go above and beyond to ensure children's safety and making sure my child and the other children are welcomed, safe, happy and having fun. The supervisor Peggy is supportive  and really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment and I am very thankful to her and her amazing team. I highly recommend sending your children to this child care.

I regret that I don't send my son to this day care center early. Teacher Kisha & Bahare are nice, care and show attention to my son. At the beginning I was so nervous as my son is a super picky eater and super attached to us. At the beginning he was crying for us and when I saw the latest daily updated. He was refused for all food and make me so upset. However, the magic of the teachers can make him sit at the table and wat by himself and he is willing to try out new food. He is more socialize and can pick up English as we only speak in our mother tongue to him at home. Truly thanks to all teachers which ease all of concerns. Now my boy behave super good during meal time, learn about some routine and understand English and can response to others in simple words. His grandma, uncle and aunt also noticed of his changes. Truly thanks and super recommend.
