SE Health - Ottawa Office

There are good PSWs with this company but sadly I've only met 1. The people on the phones are incompetent and need to get into other professions.If you're in the Ottawa area and have a PSW named Bill, fire him. He's a middle aged (white if that matters) idiot with a chip on his shoulder that will steal from you because he thinks he's owed something other than his wage because he watches too many medical shows and thinks he's a doctor. He's human garbage that should have been homeless ages ago.If you have someone named Pete from the Ottawa area is your PSW I would be vary. He stole food from my father.

Nurses were great at their job and wonderful to talk to, I felt safe and well looked after during all 3 of my post-op visits. Their booking system seems a little disorganized as they were surprised when I showed up for my first appointment despite having called me about it the week before, but nonetheless I got in on time and they were very apologetic.

Absolutely not recommend to go here. Receptionist was lack of knowledge, unwilling to help, but minding her own things. It was a struggle to get a schedule that fits your need, everything was based on protocols" and not able to adapt patient's needs. Excessively long waiting period even if you have arrived on time."

They have a few good PSW but the schedule organizer/manager should be replaced. Always short staff every week, showing up late and leave early cause of double booking, not respect clients' time. There is a lot demand for business but seems that they don't treat their staff well, probably reason why they can't keep up with the scheduling. Champlain LIN should cancel contracts with SE unless they start shaping up.

Front desk doesn't willing to listen your needs for scheduling. They just repeat their protocol" instead of understanding my unique needs/circumstance. They must understand they are here to help/support the vulnerable."

I have been going to them for 2 weeks now to deal with a health issue that requires a daily IV and wound dressing. Both nurses that I have been dealing with have been very professional as well as personable. They freely share info and answer my questions. I came out of the hospital with many worries and the nurses at the clinic have been wonderful and supportive.Just an addition to my previous comment. I have now been going to the lapierre clinic going on 5 weeks and the level of professionalism and support offered by both nurses on duty there has been wonderful. I have felt at ease and confident that my care has been their priority when I am there during my appts.

Sadly, having a husband in palliative care caused us to need PSW. My husband preferred having male PSW. We were not only accommodated with this request, but we were provided with the services of 2 outstanding gentlemen (Bernie and Chris). My husband was taken care of with much gentleness and compassion. We never had any schedule issues with SE and found the scheduling person to be attentive to our needs and keen to help. I am extremely grateful to this organization who helped me take care of this much loved man in his last days. Heartfelt thanks to Bernie and Chris.

Have had to go for the past month and the nurses are always so nice and helpful. They always keep me updated on what's going on and any changes to my condition.

Came on board as a PSW, loved working for them but things soon changed when management changed. Terrible

My mother received such good care from Martha, the PSW assigned to us. She came 3 times a week and gave the best care to my dying Mother. Thank you Martha for your kindness and patience towards my parents! We only have compliments to give for the care she received from the time I phoned for Home Care services to her last day last Sunday!
