For sure DON'T bring your kids here. Stuff is unprofessional on reception as well as doctor. They don't care about wellbeing of kids. They more interested in your payment. There are enough other clinics where I had better experience. My kid had a lot of stress and tears there and they could not manage it. Very disappointed.

Our visit here was a waste of time and money!My 5 year old daughter developed a fear of the dentist in Sept 2022 when she felt some pain while trying to have a cavity filled at our usual dental office. We tried returning a short time later and she was too scared to have anything done, so we were referred to see Dr Nancy Kennedy, Dartmouth, whom I was told was supposed to specialize in children who are nervous at the dentist by offering a gentle sedative to help kids relax. After a long wait, we finally had our appointment in February 2023, and unfortunately I was very disappointed with the service.At the beginning of her appointment, my daughter was told she needed to have X-rays done without me. This didn't seem like a great idea to make a nervous child go alone to a room without her mom, especially in a new place we've never been to before, and of course it didn't work. Their staff member, Jennifer, had to come back and get me to go into the room with her. I was able to convince my daughter to lay down on the dental chair, and have the weighted blanket on top, but once the plastic piece went into her mouth for her to bite down on, she gagged and got scared, sat up and wouldn't lay down again. Dr. Nancy Kennedy came in told me that without getting any X-rays, she couldn't continue with the appointment. I asked if my daughter could be given a sedative prior to X-rays to calm her down, but the dentist said no, without giving any reason why except that they don't usually do that.I was told that because my daughter was too nervous there was nothing they could do, so we left without any dental work done, but we still had to pay a bill of $117 (partially covered by me, and partially covered by my health plan)!I know my daughter is not an easy patient, but that's why we tried Dr. Nancy Kennedy. I was unimpressed that she didn't seem to have any understanding of anxiety in kids and didn't offer us anything special compared to our regular dentist.

When it was time for my child to be treated a woman came out and informed me of the plan for the day, to treat 4 maybe 5 cavaties. This deviated from what was scheduled at the previous appointment, 2 maybe 3 cavaties. I wasn't shown any x-rays or really given any time to ask questions, understand what changed and why. Within 3 minutes be had been taken out back. I feel as though they modified the days plan and had a plan to be quick and prevent me from questioning it. To do more work, potentially unnecessary work in order to bill more for his session. I intend to follow up with my sons regular dentist (we went to Nancy for sedation) for an opinion of the work done at Nancy's office. Putting children through unneeded treatment for financial gain isn't something I support I won't be returning and do not recommend.

My son had a bad experience there last year around July.. as a foreigner, they spoke so fast to me and didn’t consider my situation and just quickly explained that they had to take off two big tooth from don’s mouth and the other things. My son was crying for over one week after the appointment so that I made at least 4 calls to check with them if they could put space maintainer in his mouth first then think about the other side later( dentist told me, they were going to take off three more big ones from another side) during the phone call, I asked a few more times, they said : no, they had to take off his other teeth first then put the maintainer in.. so I said since my son was soo scared to come over then I would like to cancel and nobody said anything else.. And during the phone call, the assistant didn’t tell me that I had to pay for the space maintainer even my son’s teeth were still there.. and now I received a bill $175 that I had to pay for the space maintainer and they will not do it through my I insurance..I don’t know how they sent the things to the lab even my son’s teeth were still there.. my son’s mouth was full of blood at that time..my son’s only 8 years old and they were trying to take 5 big teeth from his mouth.. I trusted Dr Nancy so much. But I didn’t feel my son was treated very well..I don’t know who I could get help from, but they lost their patience to explain and consider my situation and so disappointed about the experience there. That is so sad..

Thank you VERY MUCH Dr.Elizabeth Logan , you are amazing with kids !!!I would recommend this dentist office to ANYONE who is looking for a place that is professional and understands how stressful it can be for children at the dentist .They are always polite and thoughtful weather your dealing with the front end staff at the desk to the dentist's themselvesThank you again

I was referred to Dr. Nancy Kennedy for my 7 year old daughter who was very nervous about getting her cavities fixed. I was pleased with the exceptional service and how welcoming the staff is there. They are very good with kids. It made our experience so much better while dealing with a not so pleasant issue. The wait time was quick and my daughter said she didn’t feel any pain.They used nitrous oxide and it really helped calm my daughters nerves, she said it smelled like cupcakes. I’m glad I chose this option. I recommend!

A few things!Don't bring your kids here!1. A pre screening form must be submitted in advance, it's lengthy and the formatting in the form is not user friendly and had difficulty but submitted anyway.2. Clinic turned around and cancelled my appointment BY TEXT 30 minutes prior to appointment because they didn't like something filled out on the form.3. No attempt was made to contact me by phone.4. Misinformation - give me one bit of info, then they texted later and told me something different.In all, just not a place I would trust with my family. Read other reviews! I didn't know, hadn't checked till after all these shenanigans and I'm so glad this didn't work out!! Wouldn't want to put my five year old thru the nonsense of this clinic.

Dr. Logan and staff were tremendous with our 4 year old who needed some complex teeth work done over several visits. While he still has a couple of visits to go, my wife and I were impressed by the ability of the staff to work with our son to keep him calm, cool and collected and to not be afraid. The communication during the procedure was excellent with us getting regular updates throughout about how things were going, and in one case getting some more work done since time permitted to hopefully lessen the visits down the road.My recommendation if you are referred to this office is try it out for yourself, while everyone has their own experience, I can only speak to ours and it has been a fantastic one. My daughter required sedation for a tooth extraction. As an anesthesiologist, I am well aware of the safety precautions for procedural sedation. Dr. Logan was incredible; she prioritized my daughter's well-being and comfort, answering all her questions and concerns (which can be many for a 5 year old) and made her feel very safe. I really appreciate the care and service their practice provided.

Stay away from this dental office.This office didn't even care to call to find a solution and just texts your phone. MSI even tried to help my daughter with a billing issue and tried to help us to make a plan with the dentist as they understood my 10 year old daughter is at risk of an infection in her tooth and is in extreme pain and needs dental work asap.Way to many dental offices to choose from in NS so I will be taking my services elsewhere.
