I love this studio. The instructors are very knowledgeable and friendly. This place is one of a kind in Toronto, especially for Cuban Salsa ;) and Kizomba. I absolutely love their dance socials, they usually have a diverse crowd (people of all ages, dance styles/levels). Highly recommend.

I registered for my first salsa class ever with the AfroLatino Dance Company last week. I took this class with Albena. The instructor is so polite, and professional, and truly made my first salsa experience one to remember. I learned some new moves, and the music was awesome. If you are looking for a salsa class to take in Toronto, I would definitely check out this studio. Such a wonderful experience. I will book another class very soon!

I have been a student for the past 3-4 years, and my experience has been wonderful. My favorite classes are Afro Cuban, Rumba, Salsa and Regueeton. The salsa fit classes are awesome, and will get you into shape, and a nice waist :). They also organize trips to Cuba, we went last May, and it was such an amazing experience. We all improved our dancing so much.I definitely recommend Afrolatino Dance Company, its teachers are very knowledgeable and experienced. A great place to meet people and learn from some of the best teachers in Toronto.

After visiting a few classes in Toronto, I discovered AfroLatino Dance. This is exactly what I'm looking for. A fun relaxed class where the instructor manages to find a great balance between fun, technique and musicality. As a male dancer, she has helped me after just a few classes. I've thoroughly enjoyed myself. I'd definitely recommend this school. Ooooooohhh and they are affordable as well

We had Afrolatino Dance Co. for our wedding to perform salsa and samba shows. We had a blast and our guests absolutely loved it! Prior to the wedding Albena went through all the details and synced with our DJ to ensure everything ran smoothly that day. They performed such amazing salsa and samba songs and made sure everyone got up off their seats and dance. Try to book them in advance (3-4 weeks).

Tried the bachata beginners course and it was great! I’m new to dancing and was a bit hesitant to start. I found the instructions easy to follow, and Albena was patient and professional, providing constructive feedback that felt supportive. Would recommend to anyone.

I've been taking dance lessons at this studio for about a year and a half now. What I like most is the individual attention that each instructor here gives to the students and their focus on musicality as well as the mechanics. The studio is very clean and every staff member that I've come into contact with has been extremely helpful, patient, warm and welcoming. The studio social dancing parties here are very fun and enjoyable. Another important thing to note is that unlike some dance studios, once you've purchased a package it does not have the usual expiry date of one year from purchase which further goes to show you how much they appreciate their customers and how they stand out from other dance studios.

It has been around 5 yrs now since I took my first class at AfroLatino Dance Company and I still enjoy the classes!! I fell in love with Albena's Brazilian Samba and Lady's Salsa Styling classes and was quite happy I discovered the school. The friendly and family atmosphere at the studio has always been welcoming. For me this was the only school in Toronto where I was able to learn the authentic movements of Brazilian and Cuban dance. I love the company and would recommend it any day!

AfroLatino Dance Company is simply the best school to learn authentic dances such as: Cuban salsa, Brazilian Samba and much much more! I have been dancing with AfroLatino for approximately 3 years. The atmosphere that the school provides is incomparable to any other school. Everyone there surely makes you feel comfortable, the teachers and assistants have a lot of patience and are very persistent! there are a lot of benefits to dance! it will definitely increase your confidence level! and will keep you in shape! therefore, if you're looking for a dance school to learn how to dance or to simply improve your dancing i strongly recommend AfroLatino Dance Company hands down!!
