There is something very special about this place. The people, the location, the ambiance. I absolutely love everything about One Physio.I've been seeing Mahveen for physio for a few months now and she has made a world of difference in my life, helping me rehab. She promotes healing in every sense of the word (from the plants spread around, to her healing hands, to the way she speaks to you) and has always made me feel comfortable, safe, and seen. She not only listens to every concern I have but she hears me as well. Then she takes her time to explain things to me so that I understand the process, the treatment, and anything else I may know. She champions for me and I'd bet she does the same for the rest of her patients.Huzefa is a blast for kines! He knows how to push a person to their potential while still having fun and doing it with a smile and a laugh. He's an amazing combination of serious and fun, always meeting me where I'm at on any given day.Laurence makes you work for it in kines! She knows how to make you earn the burn without you even realizing it until its there and you're muscles are fatigued.Ricardo for massage is out of this world talented. I've been to a lot of RMTs but he's second to none. I've never had a massage where it hasn't hurt at least a little before walking out feeling better, but Ricardo does just that. Somehow he gets deep into the muscle without making it excruciatingly painful first.AND!!! Their receptionist, Mitzi, is a ball of laughs and freaking great at what she does. Always handling my paperwork and my appointments, I never have to worry I'm taken care of!If you're looking for a new physio, don't hesitate to come here. I had a fracture in my finger and was recommended to Mahveen for physiotherapy. I was impressed with her professionalism and expertise right from the first session. Mahveen was very thorough in her assessment and created a personalized treatment plan that addressed my specific needs. She was also very patient and understanding, answering all my questions and providing me with clear instructions on exercises and home care.Thanks to Mahveen's guidance and support, I was able to recover very quickly and regain the full use of my finger. I started coming to One Physio as the third physio therapy clinic since I have had 2 spinal fusion surgeries, and Ive finally found the perfect group to work with me through my recovery. Mahveen, Vinci, and Huzefa will work with you and listen to you, to help get you to a healthier place, and give you the tools to maintain it. Some techniques offered include IFC (current) therapy, laser, and ultrasound. Its more impressive that they are able to teach me new stretches and techniques that were not covered by other physiotherapy groups such as Lifemark.
