Pharmasave Duncan

I made a quick stop at this store on my family trip because my son felt bad in his guts suddenly. They were all kind and careful to give us not only good medicine but also some useful tips, too. I wish there was a pharmacy like this one near my house.

I am a regular customer in this place and have been shopping for years and never had a problem that couldn't be fixed. The staff are friendly and helpful, the selection is amazing and I especially like the people and resources in the pharmacy department.

Fantastic small city, big town pharmacy. Thomas is highly knowledgeable, fast and friendly. I wouldn't dream of switching to another place. If you haven't been here, you are actually missing out on what an amazing pharmacy ought be. You are in the best expert hands with the Duncan Pharmasave.

Esther is a kind staff and Thomas is very knowledgeable and helpful! My mom has been using this pharmacy since 15 years ago. This pharmacy and pharmacist are traditional in Duncan and reliable. They've always been nice to me and my mother. So I won't switch to another pharmacy, either.

Rude, disorganized and unprofessional. First, the pharmacists claimed they had no prescription for me, but did eventually find it. Then the pharmacy manager apparently turned me over to his colleague to fill my prescription and he told me to have a seat in the waiting area. The colleague started yelling personal questions to me from about 30 feet away. I walked over to her counter area, and told her I didn’t want to yell my personal information (eg allergies, phone number) across half the store . Then she walked away from me behind their counter, continuing to ask questions. She kept doing this, never saying anything like, I’ll take your information here. I’ll never see foot in this pharmacy again, and highly recommend getting prescriptions filled by decent, professional people elsewhere.

Drove all of the way from Lake Cowichan to drop off a UPS package, as there isn't a drop off here. I forgot to tape the pre-printed label to the box and asked the cashier if they had some tape. They did have some open tape, but no, I could not use it. I was prompted to buy a roll at $5 from a stack of tape rolls directly behind the cashier -- clearly, they have done this before.I realized I forgotten my credit card at home, and did not have cash on me. I asked the cashier if she could make an exception, and she said no. I told the cashier that I live in Lake Cowichan, and again, simply asked to borrow a few pennies worth of tape. The cashier again refused, and told me that I should drive home, and come back another day when I had tape. I stood there, just staring at the woman, wondering if she was being serious -- amazingly, she was.During a pandemic, PHAMASAVE couldn't offer me a half cent worth of tape so I wouldn't have to make another trip into the city. During a PANDEMIC.I took my package, and left the store. I stood at the exit and wondered what my next step should be. I tore through my car looking for change, and found nothing. I went to the gallery next door to the Pharmasave and explained the situation to a very understanding woman. The gallery employee offered me some tape, noting that it wasn't the first time people have come in to ask for some. I shared my experience with the woman who wasn't surprised, and she shared some stories of her own.Whoever owns the Pharmasave couldn't care less about their customers, and should not be in the business of interacting with other human beings. There are other options in Duncan, please use those other options.

The pharmacist is very smart.I have been suffering from a disease for a long time, so I am taking various medicines, and whenever I go to the pharmacy, he calmly explains my medicine and symptoms to me and makes me feel relieved.

I recently started coming to this pharmacy because of the location (it's close to my work). I have had amazing service and can not say enough about them. Always friendly and always helpful.

The cashier working on Thu 23rd September around 12.50 was the rudest women to be working with the public. No time, no patience and unable to excuse the fact that my parcel was only 1 inch too big to store whilst UPS picked it up. And we are all aware of Covid rules but if she is that paranoid she should stay at home. Making people feel like they not fit to be served. Get another job Lady.
