I bought a nice pair of boots for approx 300 bucks.6 months later boots are soaking up water like a sponge from sole.when I inquired in the store about warranty I was told this is not a defect.when I specifically asked if my 300 dollar boots should last longer than 6 months the girl gave me a blank look.these boots have 0 warranty and sales staff have 0 cares about customer concerns.100% not going back

I found Canada West Boots when searching the web for some alternate options for a high quality Chelsea boot and was pleasantly supposed to hear all this praise and find it located here in Winnipeg. The staff at the shop are very knowledgeable in all their products and very helpful in helping you make a decision. The quality of the boots is amazing as well. I’ve been wearing them for a month (despite some tough break in time) I’ve got them looking wonderful and they feel amazing. Cannot recommend them highly enough. 6/5 stars.

When in store on Oct 4th just looking for boots. The two ladies working were very helpful. I did find a pair boots that fit great. Prices are also good as well. I will be back to get some jeans and a hat. They really have some good stuff in there store. Good job

Can't recommend this place enough.I now have 3 pairs of shoes from them. First is a pair of WM Moorby casual boots going on 3 years old, that are phenomenally made and looking beautiful even after 3 years. Goodyear welt, vibram sole, fully lined, high quality leather, steel shanks, etc. Beautiful boots!Second is a pair of dress shoes i used as a server for 3 years. NEVER have i had a pair of serving shoes last longer than a year, but these are going on 3 years with absolutely no signs of breaking. Incredibly well made. i think they're army surplus or something?Last week i bought my third pair, some steel toes for my new job. beautiful boots, and the quality is incredible. Factory seconds, so i got them cheap too.All in all, the shoes are all INCREDIBLE quality, and i love supporting a local winnipeg business instead of buying red wings or something else. Factory seconds are a great deal too!The service every time i go is awesome, there are 2 ladies working the front that are both very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They know a lot about the product they sell.Check this place out! Worth every penny. a great local business.

Great shop for quality leather footwear. Associates were very welcoming, friendly, and always helpful. I have purchased both a pair of casual boots and work boots from them and they are holding up wonderfully despite my wide feet, no complaints.Definitely worth a visit.

This place sells what they make: quality western footwear and a variety of work boots. I've owned two pairs, and have found them comfortable and tough. They are constructed in a way that is repairable, which makes them a more sustainable, less disposable choice. The store also sells other casual western apparel - jeans, jackets, hats and such, which makes for a certain convenience when replenishing ones wardrobe. Selection is not vast, but good quality seems to be the rule, and the jeans-wear comes in a good range of sizes. For instance, I was happy to find jeans with a 31 waist

I heard about this place from a friend and they did not disappoint. Right from the get go, I was pleasantly greated by staff with a genuine smile. I originally was just looking for a pair of Romeos. They are similar to blundstones, but better made and better quality materials used. My favorite part is they are locally made in Winnipeg, MB. I finalized my selection with the Dark Farmer Crazy Horse Romeos. Loved the colouring and feel of the boot on my feet (not even broken in). Since, it was my first time there, I kept looking around and found myself a 2nd pair of casual lace up boots. They are a cognac leather colour. I couldn't walk away from them. Another bonus is the soles are vibram and if I was to wear them out, I can easily resole them. Another point regarding staff is, she was very knowledgeable and personable, which I find rare and can only be found in such establishments (rare). One final note, the smell when you wall in is intoxicating. All future footwear purchases will be from here. Go local, or go home!.
